I highly recommend BARCS, The Pugh Zoo, Mid-Atlantic Bully Buddies, Defenders of Animal Rights, or the Humane Society of Harford County. Have personally seen their labors of love.

Personally I would go to any shelter BCAS and BARCS need adopters always because they are open access shelters and you would be saving the life of the one you adopt and the one you just made room for!
