i work for a retina specialist and we have tons of ped eye dr that ref to us. dr. arcinegas or cogen are with uab. they see patients at the eye foundation hospital and also at childrens south. their number is 325-8620. dr. fred elsas and tom metz are some others that are strickly pediatric eye doctors. i dont know their numbers off hand though. sorry! hope this helps!

I'm taking Preslee May 1 to Dr. Ann Marie Arciniegas-Bernal (those last names sound familiar? . We had been going to UAB Pediatrics but I got so tired of all the students that would do their testing only to be followed by the doc too. Way too traumatic for pres who hated being there anyway! My pediatrician recommended this doc or Dr. Cogen. They go to children's south, STV, and maybe Callahan too though so hope it's not same group that hadn't called back.
