Brandon Evans & Jeffrey Hubbard. Seriously, look through their Facebook/portfolios before you dive in. They're both super universal, but... Between the two of them? I'm not sure they can be outdone. Jeffrey(boss/owner), is amazing w/portrait type stuff. Vibrant. Color packed. Amazing. Brandon, while carries a lot of similar technique, I myself... Love his darker stuff(subject matter). He's great w/American Traditional. Old school and new. Black & grey, fantastic. And above all, if you're going to have ANY script(words in the tat), he's the guy. Check'em out. In fairness, I have no work from either artist. Barely know them. But, I've sent a lot of folks over there the past couple yrs. Everyone has been ecstatic. Not a single complaint.

I've only been tattooed by a handful of people and I'd only trust those people! They are all amazing artists!! Chris at Images Ink did my very first tattoo of my son's footprint and he did amazing!! I have tons done by Chaz Garner and if I'm not mistaken at the moment he's at stay gold in Fultondale at the moment!! He does really great colorful pieces! Mike Bernstein is awesome at black and grey and portraits he's done one for me and I love it!! Corey Matthews did an hourglass for me and its amazing. And last but not least Chris Whorton is doing a full sleeve for me (minus 2 peices) and I'm completely in love with everything he is working on!! Chris, Mike, and Corey are all located at Old School Ink Electric Tattooing in Southside Gadsden!! They are all awesome people and tattoo artists!!

Wouldn't worry so much about the price but rather the cleanliness of the studio and quality of the probucts coming out. Revolution Ink in Pelham is amazing!! Look them up on here and instagram. They don't pierce though. Next I'd suggest Skin Works also I'm pelham. They do piercing as well. Revolution is more expensive but the work can not be matched and it's all custom never flash pics.

Jason Stage does amazing work, I have had 2 tats from him and all my piercings. The only person I recommend and that I will ever go too!!!

I second Revolution Ink in Pelham. There are some things you don't try and save money on, and permanent body art is definitely at the top of that list! Jeffrey is AMAZING.
