SubliminalStudio CastleBrom should have been on that list. Some of the most amazing work I've ever seen. Their artist Lou is just immensely talented. Also a few more that deserve to be on there, like Spear Studio, Painted Lady (Dawnii Fantana is incredible), etc. And a couple that are on that list that aren't that great. But then, this list was drawn up by someone who has a lot of pretty bad tattoos and made his name by basically taking it upon himself to represent the body mod community and make it look like some sort of freak show and laughing stock, so y'know, pinch of salt and all that.
Does anybody know of a place around Pell city that does permanent tattoo make up like eyeliner lip liner...etc?

Cloud Nine Southside in Birmingham. 205 458 9998. Ask for Karri. She has a PhD in public health and stays open late to make things convenient for those who want to come in after work. She has a page here on FB http://www.facebook.com/Cloud9South
Any suggestions on a really awesome Tattoo Artist???? It's about that time...
Paul J. replied:
Yeah they're only (500) comments from this thank god they're all about tattoos, oh wait then again someone started talking about a smelly tattoo artist named Paul Thomas and then oh wait then and then and then oh and then Casey joined and then now Jessica but sorry you're not sorry

Anyone know of any great local tattoo artists? I want somewhere that's clean and friendly. I'm finally getting my favorite biblical quote on my upper back (I've wanted...
Danielle A. replied:
Tattoo Expressions did mine. If at all possible, ask for Darin if you go!
Crystal C. replied:
I second Revolution Ink.
Paul T. replied:
Revolution ink in Pelham. Any of the artists will do top notch work. Dave Rhodes Rankin did mine. I've seen too many sub par tattoos come from other shops. Do your research and then make the decision.
Anyone have a tattoo place they'd suggest? I've heard Cloud9 in Birmingham and Tattoo Jungle in Calera are alright, but has anyone here had experience with them?
Sydney H. replied:
Jeffrey Hubbard at REVOLUTION INK. Fucking incredible.
Joshua K. replied:
Not Tattoo Jungle. Nonstop Art, Revolution Ink, and Skinworx are three really good places.
Kelley C. replied:
Tattoo Jungle = sketch as hell..
Brandon C. replied:
I have been getting my sleeve worked on by TJ at Sweet Ink in town. He does good work. Anyone who wants to argue clearly hasn't seen my ink.
Erin L. replied:
NOT Tattoo Jungle. My husband and I drive all the way to Mobile to get ours from Sean Herman at Royal Street Tattoo (he's the only person who has ever tattooed us) but in Birmingham I would go to Kele at Aerochild. Sean was Kele's apprentice back in the day. Several of my friends have loved the work he has done for them. I don't know anything about Aaron but everyone at Aerochild is top notch. Cloud9 is a good place to go for piercings.
Elanea D. replied:
Sweet Ink on main street is really good if you have the right artist, I got my half sleeve done there and i have no problems and it was for a really good price. I suggest getting TJ to do your work. A lot of people have mixed opinions about this shop though. Also, Cloud Nine is pretty rad, I got my thigh piece done there. Either one is good. Just go to whatever one you feel comfortable at.
