So I used [Psychology today](https://www.psychologytoday.com/us/therapists) where I found mine (Kevin Moser) and I’m quite happy with him. He is also very reasonable with pricing. Good luck in finding someone. It’s important to find someone you feel comfortable with. As a (currently) free option you can also download the Mine’d app which has lots of topics they cover on a weekly basis.

Escambia County community health clinic is an option. I haven't experienced their counseling yet (but I plan to). I do have experience with them for physical health purposes. My visit was $20 based on income. Included blood work, EEG, anxiety prescription, ect.

I see [Mickettric Mann](https://www.mickettricmann.com). I'm not sure what rates she charges, but she mentioned in passing that discounts rates when she can for those in need. Even if she can't discount in this particular situation, I'm sure she'd be able to put you in contact with other resources.

We love Spectrum House. We use it for both of our kids. My youngest is 3 1/2, nonverbal. We are only doing 6 hrs a week right now and they have been great at working with our crazy and changing schedule. We did more hours during the summer. They have multiple locations.

Behavior Changes, LLC has an amazing and highly qualified staff of BCBAs and Behavior Technicians who provide services in the natural environment. Call Teresa at 850-270-0640 for additional information.

We've used 2 other companies in town before we found Behavior Changes. They are AMAZING. When we started, she pretty much for all intents & purposes non-verbal (extreme selective mutism) but now she's a sassy chatterbox. We only do like 9 hours a week (and sometimes less) but it's about quality not quantity!
Linda S. replied:
Sara Barrett BTEC is the only company in the region that has a service delivery model that only uses Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) - not behavior technicians, not tutors, not BCaBAs. BTEC has highly qualified therapists who are skilled in the appropriate implementation of applied behavior analysis and can offer a truly individualised implementation based on your child's needs . Hope this helps. Please feel free to private message me.

Please call our principal, Charles Thomas,@(850) 458-7735. He can answer your questions and set up a tour if you'd like. We have OT, Speech, and PT (if needed) during the school day. We offer speech and ot services after school, also. Our ese hours are 8:30-12:35, which is ideal for our families that do aba and other outpatient therapies elsewhere. It is not too late in the day to find an ideal time slot. We have a school bus, also, if that is needed for your child. Being on the west side, it should not be far from you at all, we are located on 4901 West Fairfield Drive.

Does anyone know of where I can take my 8 year old to be tested to see if he's on the Spectrum? He's LD, adhd, and oppositional defiant. He's going to have school...
Rachel H. replied:
Lakeview cannot do that type of testing due to Autism being neuro developmental in nature. I always refer clients to call the Autism Pensacola office because they are such a great resource and can point you in the right direction for resources in the area:) I am also sorry your little one had such a bad experience at Lakeview. That's really unfortunate. I would highly suggest looking for someone who has a background in ABA therapy instead of a generalist if your little person has Autism (I am a licensed clinical worker and have seen some colleagues that were ABA therapists do amazing work to help kids on the spectrum ). Good luck!

We used Dr. Kizilbash
Angela H. replied:
I totally recommend Dr. Kizilbash too. My 8 year old son recently tested with him. My son liked him so much that he cried when I told him we had our last appointment for a while...He said he was going to miss him and he has never responded about someone like that before.
Karen B. replied:
Sacred Heart Pediatric Out patient Rehab can evaluate children using the ADOS 2. Just need a referral from Pediatrician.
