Dr Remsen is the best thyroid dr. When I worked for dr Covello we sent all of our pt to him - he even dud my thyroid surgery in 2007

Dr. Margaret Sacco. She is a (I believe) general surgeon...she's great.

I had a total thyroidectomy at NYU Medical Center. I know it's not local, but a great experience despite the diagnosis.

Dr. Sacco is great but I believe her practice is now limited to breast surgery only.

Don't deal with locals, deal with Morristown Memorial Hospital. If you have a doctor who has privileges there ask his/her office staff and the doctor for a recommendation. Do a search of the state data base for Drs and law suits. For example, Morristown Mem has the lowest mortality rate of all hospitals in NJ for heart surgery and heart treatments. Only a few miles down I-287 and so good! Seek consultations with several drs and evaluate them for yourself.

Dr. Jonathon Levine, he is in the same office as Dr. Remson in Riverdale. My life saver with my thyroid cancer. The scar is barely visible, too!

Dr. Cece in Wayne is the best! I had a total thyroidectomy by him. He found my cancer while Dr. Remsen in Ruverdale told me I was fine. Whatever you do, don't go to Remsen!!!!

Thanks, Gail, but it was Dr. Drillings, and they said they only have the original x-ray which they signed out to us - if I want a copy of it whether hard copy or digital or DC, I have to find a place that will make the duplicate from the original.

Dr Potter removed my sons appendix in an emergency surgery two years ago. It’s scary to get stuck with a doctor you don’t know and haven’t researched but he was great! I would recommend him.

Dr Potter is, hands down, the best general surgeon in the area. Did a very risky colostomy (success) on my Mom; and recently, an emergency appendectomy (success) on my Sister. He was so great to work with, and such a nice guy.

Dr Potter removed my husband's gallbladder in 2005 and his partner Dr. Bakosi took out my appendix in 2016. Both surgeries went well. They are both skilled.

Very good but not his suite mate Dr Bakosi really messed my hernia repair up ☹️
