My husband and I are new to Pflugerville and are looking for a good primary care physician, dentist, and for me a gyn. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!...
Corinne C. replied:
I like Pflugerville Modern dentist. I've always had a positive experience there. If you don't mind driving to Austin you should check out Dr. Oliver at Women Partners in Health. I've been going to her for years and she has a great bedside manner and just top notch. http://www.wpih.net
Suzanne S. replied:

Jackie T. replied:
Dr Brenda Gentry in Pville .. Great locals !
Kimberly Z. replied:
Yes like Robin Simpkins said... He has amazing bedside manners, delivers 90-95% of all his patients, and is not rushed to get out. He'll answer all your questions and is even excited to just talk to you! I love his RNs and their lab result nurse Kathy. She's the one that gets back to you with results and she will explain everything to you. You won't feel the need to Google anything after talking to her. The only downside for Dr. Seeker is the wait time, 1-2 hr behind is "on time". Lol
Cindy N. replied:
Austin area Obgyn on Mopac at parmer. Connected to North Austin Medical hosp. Check out Dr Akin, Seeker,or Uribe. I LOVE Dr. Uribe, his PA and nurses. The lab, sano and mammo are in the same building.

Dr. Carrie Etheredge for dentist - she's off of Far West but wonderful. Dr. Yvette Gutierrez-Schieffer for OB/Gyn - love her and she's delivered both my kids and has been my dr for 15 years. She's at North Austin Medical Center (ADC OB/GYN). Dr. Hull for internal medicine - he's at ARC Far West - and I can't say enough amazing things about him. He's been my dr for 17 years and took us on at a really rough time. Adore him!!!
Christle C. replied:
Pflugerville modern dentistry and Dr Mathew Romberg at austin diagnostic off of old settlers in RR
Kerry B. replied:
We love Patriot Dental in RR. My hubby's had a lot of work done, and we've been really pleased with his care there.
Kimberly Z. replied:
We're new here too and my ob is Dr. Chris seeker. Love him. He's super popular but my husband and I both love and trust him already. He's with Austin area obgyn.
Kerry B. replied:
I know lots of ladies who go to Dr. Seeker.. but he's a hugger.. just an FYI..:) And, if time is of the essence, plan to wait well past your appointment time. But those I know who go there speak very, very highly of him.
Looking for recommendations for a Primary care physician. My insurance lists providers at Seton Family of Doctors at Stonehill, Scott & White Clinic on Pflugerville...
Sarah N. replied:
I see Dr. Eisen at ADC off Mopac and Parmer across from the St David's. I love her
Sara S. replied:
I started going to Wiseman Family Practice about 10 months ago. Unfortunately the doctor I was seeing doesn't really treat pregnant women, (which I currently am) but Dr.Jeremy got me on the path to a better healthier life. I've never met a doctor who was willing to take the chances he had with me. Check him out.
Candice G. replied:
Shane Keller is booked out like 2 months so he is very hard to get into to see even as an established patient.
Edyie W. replied:
Sherry Maddoux I see Dr. Madabhushi as well! You're right about her too, I feel as though she REALLY cares about my health and well being.

Judy K. replied:
Call and see if Dr Shane Keller at Parkway Primary Care at Stonehill takes your insurance. He's terrific.
Cynthia L. replied:
Miriam, are you willing to say more about what happened at ARC? I respect your privacy, so I understand if you prefer not to. We like Dr Steven Hart there very much.. want to keep an eye open for potential difficulty & expense, though. Sounds like you are facing a huge OOP and I hope you are able to successfully appeal the insurance denial.

Looking for primary care physician recommendations in the area! Someone thorough, doesn’t rush & personable. Bonus points for same day appts & after hours
Rebecca B. replied:
Dr Russo is a little abrasive but he would probably fight a bear for you. He's thorough and will send you to specialists if you need it. He might call you repeatedly to make sure you made your appointments and took your medicine or give you what for. I loved him, but my husband found him intimidating. His office is right off Pecan Street.
Stephanie B. replied:
I saw Vanessa Ven Huizen at ARC off Windermere. She is wonderful. They also have pediatrics and a blood lab right in the office too. And it’s super clean and new.
Looking for a GP that will treat adult ADD. We recently moved here and both of my adult kids have ADD and have been treated by GP for years. It seems I can’t find...
Gillian C. replied:
Austin regional clinic. Dr. Abraham
Aida O. replied:
In Pflugerville? Dr. Merlin Abraham?
Lynda P. replied:
My Dr is a former pediatrician, and now she sees both children and adults with ADHD. The only downside is that she's a one-woman practice and she doesn't work with any insurance companies. You have to pay up front and then usually you can be reimbursed from your insurance. But it's worth it for me. She's up near 183 & Duval, so pretty close to Pville. http://www.lbkacirmd.com/
Looking for a new Primary Care Physician. Thinking fo calling ARC. Any comments or suggestions? TIA
Judy C. replied:
I prefer the Austin Diagnostic Clinic over ARC. Nancy Dasso is an internest that I could recommend over there. They have a slew of primary care physicians - and I've been to see Dr. Abraham.
Tori J. replied:
Love Dr. Mahale at Scott and White in Pflugerville. She is amazing!!
Doris L. replied:
Austin Diagnostic Center. Dr. Nemawaker.
Aida O. replied:
If you’re willing to go into Austin, Dr. Erica Swegler at Beacon Family Health on Medical Parkway. Small family medicine practice with 2 docs and a PA. My whole family sees Dr. Swegler. Feel like it’s more personal service in a small practice. If you’re an established patient, they can see you as a walk-in. We go there for everything.
Marsha N. replied:
I highly recommend Dr Neal Johnson !
Debbie T. replied:
I go to Dr. Dao and Carrie Barlow at Seton Family of Doctors at Stonehill. They are both very thorough.
Olivia M. replied:

Vivian W. replied:
I also recommend Dr. Ven Huizen at ARC in Pflugerville. My son and I have seen various doctors in their network for almost 20 years.

Thanks
Nara D. replied:
Thanks Lori. I am actually seeing him tomorrow for somewhat of a 2 nd opinion. I was seeing someone else there but not that impressed. Rayna sees Dr. Enders there. Glad you like Dr. Hart. Makes me feel better knowing someone I know sees him before I go tomorrow.
Lori W. replied:
The kids go to Dr. Holliman and she was actually the one that suggested Dr. Hart to me. I've only seen him twice for two minor things. Nothing yearly yet but he's got a great personality and I think you'll really like him.
Lori W. replied:
I recently started seeing Dr. Hart at ARC by casa garcias where the kids go for their pediatrician and I really like him. His nurse is super fantastic too and to me that days a lot. Hope that helps.

The Scott and White clinic on Pflugerville parkway and 685 has walk-in hours. I think they start at 4? But you could call to confirm. You might even be able to set an appointment.
Janine S. replied:
Go to ARC near LaFrontera on Hester's Crossing. I can never get into the Pflugerville office same-day. See if Dr. Magdamo or Dr. Nguyen is available. Both are awesome. I have a 12-month old that keeps me constantly sick and they always take care of me.
Shawn C. replied:
I’m at Baylor Scott -White Clinic on Pflugerville Pkwy as we speak they were friendly & I’m abt to get my blood drawn right now

This has probably been asked before, but which doctor do yall recommend as a primary care doctor? Thanks.
Deb M. replied:
My husband and I both go to Dr. Shane Keller, he has an office in Stone Hill shopping center. Great doctor and all around nice guy. Good luck in your search.
Sharon C. replied:
Austin Regional Clinic facilities all over Austin area. All their doctors have been great. We've been a patient of the clinic since the 80's. After hrs & same day appts are another reason I recommend them.
Rikki A. replied:
We use ARC too. You can pretty much see a doctor somewhere whenever you need to. Haven't been to an urgent care clinic or ER unless absolutely needed for several years. They take pretty much any insurance too. My husband and I see Dr. Irvin at the RR clinic for routine visits. Pretty much every doctor we have seen there has been great.
Kathryn H. replied:
I use Dr. Kenneth Fite at Austin Medical Group as my PCP. He's fantastic and right by North Austin Medical Center. I have a ton of health issues, so I needed someone who could keep track of what all of my other doctors were doing. He's been a Godsend for me.
I am trying to find a primary care physician who accepts Medicare patients. Dr. Merline Abraham at ARC in Pflugerville has been suggested. Any feedback?
Tarin D. replied:

HELP! I have a patient of Medicare age, she has been approved for part A (emergency room visits) but not part B (doctor visits) -- she needs to see a primary care...
Nicole W. replied:
No, she cannot get her date pushed up. She should go see a provider at CommUnity Care. There's an office on foothill farms where the tax office is. They'll charge her on sliding fee.
