Three years ago I decided that my family was complete. My OB/GYN highly recommend Essure ( permanent birth control). Six months after, I got pregnant. I had hypermesesis...
Jennifer V. replied:
I see Dr. Ozer at Texas Diabetes and Endocrinology for my Hashimoto's. He's great but there is a waiting list of a couple months usually.
Rachel S. replied:
Texas Diabetes and Endocrinology - There is one in Round Rock and Austin. I go to Round Rock and see Dr. Sing for Hashimotos and PCOS. My mom goes to Dr. Ozer for diabetes. Both of them are awesome choices.
Kaitlin S. replied:
My mom, sister, and grandmother all have hashimoto’s disease. My sister was diagnosed at age 12. I just wanted to say that I’m SO sorry all of that has happened to you, but this disease is manageable. Don’t let it run your life girl you got this! Turmeric will help with the joint pain you mentioned. My mom sees Dr. Scumpia and she’s good but my sister can’t stand her. I don’t remember the doctor she is seeing now. I know they bill super weird and sometimes it’s ridiculously expensive because they can’t ever get their insurance right when my sister goes in. Good luck searching!!!
Monica S. replied:
Dr. Ozer at the RR location. He is incredible and has been treating me for PCOS for the past 5 years. His nurse practitioner Michelle is just as amazing. http://www.texasdiabetes.com/about-us/our-doctors/kerem-ozer/

I have Hasimotos and it has caused me to be hypo as well. I go to the BEST doc and I have two other friends that see him now too. My first visit was 45 minutes and we talked about EVERYTHING that I didn’t realize could impact my Thyroid. Dr. Ozer is AWESOME and I can’t say enough about my every 2-3 mths appointments. I can even have ultrasounds on site before my appointment. If you have questions message me.

Barbara B. replied:
Dr Espinosa. She amazing.
Emily J. replied:
I'm so sorry for all that you've been through. For those with insurance or means seeking to end fertility and prevent tubal cancer, I encourage you to find a doctor that will perform a bilateral salpingectomy rather than a risker/less safe/less effective procedure like Essure or others. My OB/GYN Dr. Cherry with ARC performed mine, and I've never been happier.
Anyone have an OB/GYN that they would recommend? Preferably in Pflugerville/Round Rock/North Austin. Thanks!!
