Your crew is taken care of and if something comes up they are at the vet where they can get it taken care of in a heartbeat. My girl was having issues and I was heading out of town. Thankfully she was staying there so they could run some tests while boarding. She was in liver failure. They started treatment on her immediately and by the time I got back into town it had already started to help and she was making signs of improvement.

We started going to DogBoys (www.dogboys.com) a long time ago when our parents could no longer take our first dog and after one stay at the vet, she was asked to not return for boarding. It was great for our high-strung girl and the dogs we have now come home tired because of all the fun they have playing with doggie friends all day at "the ranch." I know it isn't petsitting, but I thought I would just mention them as to us they are the next best thing to petsitting.

When we went on a weeks vacation, I didn't want to leave our dog home alone with someone just coming in a few times. Especially at night. We found someone on Rover.com that we liked and it went well. She watched our dog in her home for a week so there was another dog and family there.
