I've actually called Meetinghouse dental and talked to a girl for like a half hour about biologic dentistry, but again they don't see kids under a certain age and i don't think they take insurance. But, they did recommend someone in Doylestown who does the non-mercury, composite fillings- totally forget the name though. I also just remembered a long time ago i went to this really small practice- a woman dentist- State Street Dentistry right in Newtown borough, and she was really nice and didn't fight me when i said i don't do flouride, etc.

There is a great pediatric dentist that works in Gtown, I think on Greene Street.... Does anyone know his/her name.
Jeffrey S. replied:
There's Dr.s Ernest and Iris Moody on School House La. which my kids used with the School District of Phila. dental plan. As a participating dentist, their fees were mostly covered. Dr. Barry Melman and Ravett are probably who Carole is thinking of they do accept some insurance, but it pays about 1/3 to 1/2 of their fee. If you haven't already done so, here's a search for dentists in 19144. http://www.dentalplans.com/dentalsearch/dentistsearch?zipCode=19144&dentistLastName
Robert S. replied:
I have, shall we say, very complicated teeth. The details don't matter. I have yet to find insurance that covers some of the work I have had done over the years, but at least I can get a very good discount by using dentalplans. Worth a look if cost is an issue. http://www.dentalplans.com/
