Caroline Haack .. i tried coconut oil, seemed to be helping at first w my pup but it failed..with him anyway.. not that it might not work for this pup as I heard such great things

I've used Tea Tree oil (Melaluca) on the rash on my dog but diluted with some water. It worked really well.

It might not be allergies. One of our cats starting periodically having all these scratches on his head. I assumed he got them from playing or fighting with one of our other cats. When I took him into the vet for a routine visit they suggested it was e ither allergies or stress. They told us that we could try him on a hypoallergenic food and that individual allergy tests were way too expensive. They suggested that if this did not work it was most likely stress, requiring a med for anxiety. Well, it isn't allergies, and we've always known he's neurotic. We have always gone to Blue Cross Vet on 32 nd and Indian School. I found them on yelp when we first moved tk Arizona. They are the highest rated vet on yelp.com. The vets there are caring and nice, and they don't charge an arm and a leg. They aren't cheap, but their prices are fair. If you don't mind driving across town, I highly recommend them.

Arrow Animal Hospital on 51 st and thunderbird is where I take my dogs for their severe allergies, and they will do payments.

Shawnna Rustenbeck She is a shepherd mix and yeah we have try fish oil...The vet recommended skin testing at the same time said she's probably allergic to a lot of things..but pricing on the allergy testing has proven it's expensive...
Shawnna R. replied:
Miguel we really like our vet. Dr Patty at south point animal hospital. She is amazing and will tell you inexpensive things to try before running the expensive tests. We take both of our labs there. I'm sure if you tell her what you have tried and what plants your dog is around she will be able to help you. Our chocolate had a lot 9 f problems when she was a puppy and she made sure to keep us calm while trying to figure out what was going on with her without going to the extreme. the office is on baseline and 48 th street s9 it's I'm Tempe but she actually lives here in laveen and has a lot of dogs herself.

Miguel Atriano Request an allergen screen at your vets office. It's about $240 they take a blood sample and mail it to a lab that tests it and will give you a hard list of what your pet is allergic to. I had an issue with my Pitty and after spending al most 7 g on him at a vet and with a dermo they finally told me about it. He was allergic to a load of weird things including oatmeal which was in the medicated wash they had me bathing him in. I recommend that before spending any more with a vet or on a dermatologist.
