We take our 7 year old to Children's Hospital LA. Our insurance makes us go there even though it's 3 hours away (more with traffic). I was very irritated with the drive at first, but we have been happy with the doctors. It was refreshing to talk to a doctor who was knowledgable about AS! He sees Dr. Jeffery Johnson.

Here's a recommendation from our ASF president: Dr. Quigley treats other pediatric AS patients and has been involved in helping ASF select research proposals in prior years. Dr. Scott miyake. He is with Kaiser Permanente and operates on the Lake Road dialysis clinic in Milwaukee. Truly the most personable and forward-thinking nephrologist I've ever had. He also heads up an experimental 8 hour overnight dialysis study that was amazing .
