Stanley Steemer does good work. But they do try to sell you extras like "odor removal" etc. If you stay strong and say no to the upsell, you will get a good cleaning.

Yes, call Mike Howard at 1 (714) 822-4587. He and his business partner Darren do an excellent job with residential and commercial properties. I have personally used them for 25 years in YL, and before that in Anaheim Hills. Everyone who I have referred them to through the years continue to use them. They are truly hard working, decent, knowledgable, REASONABLE, guys, who own powerful equipment. Can't recommend them enough.

One more testimony about Mike Howard's knowledge of carpet. A few years back, I had our original carpets replaced. The new carpet seemed to be getting dirty faster than normal. While I was away visiting family, my husband wanted to surprise me by coming home to clean carpets, so he called Mike. When Mike saw our new carpet, he said that he thought that the carpet was actually attracting dirt, because he believed it was defective. He told my husband that he didn't want to clean our carpet because he didn't to interfere with the manufacturers warranty. He recommended that we contact the store where we purchased it. The store (Best Carpets on State College) contacted the manufacturer. The manufacturer sent out several reps to test the carpet by dropping a series of chemicals on them. Long story short, after a whole lot of patience on our part, the manufacturer admitted that the carpets were in fact defective. Apparently a petroleum product was not properly removed in the manufacturing process, causing the carpet to attract soil. It was a nightmare to have to go through re carpeting again, but MIKE HOWARD was right, and I ended up with beautiful new carpets, which I was much happier with. BTW, Best Carpets (small family owned) was awesome and stood behind me 100% in dealing with the US manufacturer. Best Carpets said they would even go with us to small claims court, if we needed them. Fortunately, we didn't. Moral: Mike Howard knows his stuff!
