Any suggestions on where to board two dogs over Thanksgiving? We just decided to go out of town and aren't finding anything. Our vet (Bloomingdale Animal Hospital) is...

Timberlane Pet Hospital & Resort in Plant City is aweome!
I need a recommendation of a Plant City area Veterinarian who is experienced, knowledgeable, and fair priced. I don't need fancy offices or the "latest tests." Just a...

I love Dr Latter but he is in Lakeland right off County Line rd and Pipkin. He is always reasonable.

I agree with Kim, we use the SPCA clinic in Lakeland. They're good, cost efficient and the money helps stray animals, too.

I love Dr. Latter and love Dr. Conned, however, recent financial changes forced me to shop around and I found Dr Y at Southside to be approximately 1/2 for my 3 dogs. It's a little different than I'm accustomed to but atleast I've been able to return to the vet for serviced. I have heard the Lakeland SPCA is economical. It is not as convienant for me. Good luck and Congrats on your baby.

That's Dr Conner

Dr Collins on Knights Griffen. She's been taking care of my horses, cows, cats, and dogs for decades. She will be straight up and honest and doesn't push unnecessary treatment, reasonable pricing for small animal services.
Robin R. replied:
agree with Rachel, but also Dr. Marks at Turkey Creek animal hospital is good. He sold his practice to a younger vet, so ask specifically for him. He's pretty old school. So either Sally Collins or Dr. Marks.

The SPCA Animal Clinic in Lakeland is very good and very reasonable! My Mom just spent only $37 for exam, shot and prescription for her little dog. That's who we're switching too!

The Humane Society in Tampa has a beautiful new clinic and they are very reasonable. I believe the vets in the area volunteer or work very cheaply so they can keep costs down. Call around, there is a big difference in costs depending on who you call.

Doc Collins on Knight's Griffin! You can't eat off the floors, but they sure do love those animals!! Morgan the vet tech is awesome too! Very reasonable!! No credit cards. Cash or checks only. She's lived in PC so long she remembered old shell houses that used to be on the corner of Cork and Sam Allen where the BB sign is now....really nice people!

I took Casper to walden lake animal clinic and regretted it. They weren't polite and tried to get me to drop $5 k to get his blood sugar regulated. When I declined treatment, he pretty much said that Casper wouldn't make the night. Took him to our old Tampa vet the next day and he lived a couple more years after that - without spending that much money.
