Recommendation for equestrian vet. I'm in Organford. Also, do they do teeth or should I have them done by someone else? If so, can anyone make any recommendations?...
June S. replied:
we use Damory Vets from Blandford They also do teeth and most of them (the ones who do teeth) have done specialised training

Damory vets in Blandford. They also do cheap travelling on a Thursday to the Purbecks

For teeth I would always recommend Chris Pearce as he is an equine dentist who originally started out as a vet! Brilliant dentist and lovely guy, he travels all over the world to help horses and trains other equine dentists! He is fully qualified and is amazing! His website is equinedentalclinic.co.uk
So I'm after riding insurance, I don't own my own horse but ride other peoples regularly. Is petplanequine any good? also, does bhs cover vet bills? or has anyone got...
Laura T. replied:
http://www.petplanequine.co.uk/insurance/insurance-rider-plan.asp - this policy pays emergency vet bills up to £1500 jodie :)

If you google Combined Insurance Company of America, should take you to their website.

http://static.eandl.net/documents/policy/summary/ER.pdf well i just found this one for £45 a year (30% off as buying online) and it covers any initial emergency vet bills that arise do to an injury sustained the same day as the injury occurred?
Any recommendations for a vet to see my chooks? I phoned couple of local ones and they are wanting £45 just to see one
Cheryl E. replied:
Might be worth phoning The Vet at Millbrook, Southampton to ask if they have a vet with poultry knowledge! They are certainly very competitively priced compared to other vets and you don't have to make an appointment and are also open late!
Jenny B. replied:
I used to use Mrs Richardson, Orchard Vets in Romsey, specially because she's very knowledgeable with chickens. I think she may of retired now. Their phone number is 01794 830288.
Jenny B. replied:
Also Farmer Bryan at Longdown Farm often is very helpful. He's not a vet but does offer great advise and has years of experience.
Hilary G. replied:
Shield Vets in Bishops Waltham are twenty something. Rosie is the chicken vet.

Has anyone got any vet wrap they don't need? Or can recommend good online place to buy bulk that arrived next day? don't want to keep paying £2 a roll.
