Dr vanzyl husband is Dr brown he is a good dr but he just doesn't beat around the bush or sugar coat things. I think there pretty busy in there but they may take new patients. Dr Andre van zyl is in the same office but I think he only takes elderly

The Dr Van Zyl your talking about is the father in law of Dr Brown who's wife is also Dr VanZyl who just deals with babies. They are all in the same office on Gertrude.
We moved to Port Alberni this summer and haven't had to use the walk in clinic yet, until today when I need to go see a doctor. Does anyone know where it is and if it is...
Ursula H. replied:
The clinic is located behind the Johnston Rd McDonald's. Call ahead and discuss your situation. 778 421-1219
Debbie R. replied:
They took my son without his card, but he's 4, and we have been there many times before. Also we know the Dr Putz very well...perhaps that's why.

Filasis N. replied:
Lol good luck getting ANY health care in Port Alberni that's even remotely competent
Kristie C. replied:
Dr Smit is a female that works from clinic and sees women on Wed's or Thurs if they don't have a Dr or are not comfortable with men. And anything beyond that ask for a referral to Dr Fouad the OBGYN for other reproductive related issues
Tia W. replied:
The female I had Dr Z she was pretty great she was by bus depot
Fiona D. replied:
I could not find a female doctor in town, but, there is a weekly women's clinic at the walk in on Thursdays, but, you have to call and make an appointment for it. It's what I do for all my "female health" issues:) West Coast Urgent Care (Walk-in) Clinic Phone: 778 421-1219
Chantelle J. replied:
Richie Stauffer aint nobody wants a bad guy doctor either.
Is there a certain place in PA where I can take our toddler for immunization shots? We're fairly new in town, and have not been to the doctor here. Thanks.
Michelle R. replied:

Where would you recommend a different doctor in town? Who's a good doctor in town?
I kinda wanna switch drs.. I need a second opinion my foot and my doctor doesn't seem...
Lisa M. replied:
Dr Sutcliffe is my doctor as well and he probably has referred you to a specialist/surgeon. But most of the specialist have long waiting list and it may seem like he has done nothing but it isn't him. I bet if you call his office and ask Marie if he has sent the referral she will let you know what's going on and tell you who the surgeon is. Took my son 6 months to see Dr Buchard in Nanaimo.
Bailey G. replied:
I have Dr. Depape and have had amazing care by him ... I'm unsure about if he's excepting new patients but it's worth a try
Nicole W. replied:
I have Dr Puts and really like him, not sure about accepting new patients tho, I hear if you approach him rather than reception he lets you in. (Like at the clinic, etc) Dr White is amazzzing too but full I bet. And yes, you can always ask your doctor to refer you to a specialist:) Good luck.
