Anyone recommend a pediatric dentist in the area? My 18 month old son fell and hit his front tooth where it dislodged in a new position! Freaking out! Need to call first...

Anna S. replied:
Dr. Christina Tappert. Cranberry twp. Right on 19 north just past home depot. She is great with kids and my daughter did the same thing and she took care of it same day!
Kristen B. replied:
Dr. Jane Soxman on route 8.
Lynn K. replied:
Agreed no Dr Soxman! She's very mean to kids who are afraid. She told me she couldn't work on my son and recommended Dr. McKee at Wexford pediatric dentist. He's out in Wexford. He's awesome and just a very lovely, funny and kind man. He can do surgery there too. Oh and he can administer nitrous oxide if you have a child with a lot of anxiety going to the dentist. They just have to put on the piggy nose
Tina K. replied:
Nooooo dr. Bentz he told me.i was a horrible parent for letting my child use syrup in his pancakes. Dr Christa tapert in cranberry both my boys have been going there and my oldest is 20
Julie B. replied:
Dr McKee is awesome. He sees my sister who has Cerebral Palsy which leads to many difficulties for a dentist but he is awesome and still sees her as an adult!
Kristen D. replied:
Stay away from dr. Bentz, he's very mean to children. Dr. McKee in Wexford very friendly
Becca F. replied:
Dr Bentz has never been to me or my daughter
Josette G. replied:
Dr Bellasario, my son loves him. On rte 8
Stacy L. replied:
Dr. Bentz and his staff have been phenomenal with my two boys. I've been going to him for about 4 years now. He so gentle with my boys and engages in great conversation with the both of them... My boys tell him everything that they eat and he has never sat there and judged me whatsoever...
Julie M. replied:
Dr. Soxman route 8.
Heather D. replied:
Dr. Pacella-Mars Dental Specialists-724-625-7200
Tina S. replied:
**Sorry - missed his age - thought it was a permanent tooth.** This would have been my suggestion: If there is exposed root, it would be best to have him seen at an ER with Trauma services. He could be seen by either OMFS or EENT. Anytime a root is exposed, the tooth can die.
Anne G. replied:
No no no Dr Jane Soxman. She's horrible. Dr Bentz at number above.
Lynne N. replied:
Dr. Bentz
Kimberley D. replied:
Dr. Bellisario will recommend Mars Dental Specialists (this happened to my 4 yr old son as well). We went there and they did a great job. Someone above me posted info, Dr. Pacella
Call anyone recommend a good pediatric dentist in PA?
Jodi T. replied:
Dr. Bree at Jamestown!!
Raquel N. replied:
My son is four and Dr. Van Dyken was amazing for him! I originally took him to Jamestown and the dentist is great but their scheduling was horrible. They scheduled him two months out to do some fillings and then the day before his appointment called and said their policy changed and kids under 5 needed to be seen in the mornings. No big deal except that their next available appointment was another two months out. I asked them to fax his X-rays to van dykens and they fit him in within 2 days.
Hannah D. replied:
Jamestown dental, Dr. Bree!
Robin S. replied:
Irwin Todd Mary for sure!!!!
Tonja L. replied:
I work for Irwin dental center and we love kids, but If you are looking specifically for a pedodontist, Dr Bri Butler at Jamestown is amazing

Dr. Chips by Wendy's on route 8. Been going there since I was a kid, and will take my kids when they're older
Stacy V. replied:
Dr Soxman is wonderful. My 5 yr old loves her! She also has a great staff.
Janette C. replied:
Dr. Selvig in Natrona Heights is amazing. He was recommended by our pediatrician twenty years ago. My daughter was upset when she turned 21 and had to find a new dentist. He is also known for his work with children with special needs.
Jennifer S. replied:
We go to Dentica in Wexford. He doesn't immediately jump into fillings for cavities and encourages parents to be with their children and hasn't pushed for complete sedation for my son who is a bit of a drama queen. So far we love Dr Goldsmith.
Emily C. replied:
Dr Foust of Smile Dental in Gibsonia (located in the Buffalo Wild Wings mall) is excellent with kids and adults too!
Denise K. replied:
Dr. Stephanie Kobil- wonderful pediatric practice! North on rt 8
Benjamin C. replied:
Dr Foust is great!
Melanie H. replied:
I second Dr Soxman on Rt 8! she was recommended to us after our daughter had a traumatic experience elsewhere and we LOVE her!!!! she is fantastic and I recommend her to everyone
Laurie D. replied:
Hands down and sooooooooo many Mars families go to Mars Dental Specialists on Brickyard Road. Same Plaza as Mango Bean . Love them. Gold coin after visit. Dvd with sunglasses during. 110 percent kid friendly.
Jamie C. replied:
Dr Soxman is awesome
Molly R. replied:
Dr. Kraig McKee
Kim A. replied:
We go to mars dental on brickyard rd. It's not to far and you won't find a friendlier place. We went there after a bad experience with Dr. Bentz. I also found him sharp for being a pediatric dentist.
Tina S. replied:
We had a terrible experience with Dr. Benz - he didn't want me to be with my son for his first appt -?he was 2 - I insisted, and he was nasty the entire appt. Never went back - I took him to Moon twnshp (at the time, limited choices here).
Adrienne W. replied:
I would stay as far away from Dr McKee as humanly possible. Had a bad vibe from that man from the start and I'm so glad I got a second opinion for my daughter. We love Dr. Soxman on Rt 8. My daughter has a condition with her molars where 3 of them came in with little to no enamel. They can be extremely sensitive even when sprayed with just air. Dr Soxman and her assistant Beth are absolutely wonderful. Both moms who understand kids and are super sweet and thorough.
Cherie S. replied:
Dr. Tera DePaoli a couple doors down from Wagner's Market in that plaza on Middle Rd. She is wonderful!!!
