Steve Eagle Be aware on the Canadian side that many restaurants, attractions and hotels may add a 3% fee on top of the regular GST tax. The 3% fee is a marketing fee and you do not have to pay it.. Just ask that it be removed BEFORE you pay. http://www.stcatharinesstandard.ca/2008/12/13/three-per-cent-tourist-tax-legitimate

Stayed at the Double Tree very nice and a 10 min walk to the falls, stayed at Travelogue good and right in the middle of everything. Use Booking.com.

Regardless of where you stay, make sure you do this while you are there. It's a little off the beaten path, but my favorite part of Niagara falls. https://youtu.be/bZBWsUR6 dlI

I stay at Radisson Fallsview on the Canadian side every year. Clean rooms, comfy beds, and decent views for the price. Of course not comparable to the Hilton for example, but a better value if you're not sticking in your room all day.
Starting to plan my first trip to Vegas! There are so many hotels to pick from. I'm looking for some input. Good places, first timer ideas! Tips. Thanks in advance!

We like to stay on Fremont Street. Away from the Strip, but still a ton of fun. The last time we went we stayed at The D. You can definitely take an Uber or Taxi to the Strip. In fact, I recommend it. The Strip is definitely something you want to experience, but I love Fremont Street too. Have fun! We're going back in September!

Vegas.com has great package prices for all hotels including the strip ones. There is also alot of info on that site for free attractions and other things to do as well as a list of shows, top rated restaurants, pools, nightclubs etc

Twice as much money, half as many clothes. We enjoyed the Mirage, since it had both Terry Fader and Cirque de Soliel shows. And take the Vegas bus tour, you get to see a lotta sites!

We have been 3 times. First time we stayed at the Luxor, just okay for a hotel. We found it to be too far South on the strip. Second time was the Bellagio and that was beautiful and a Great location. Never thought I would be able to afford to stay there but, surprisingly only about $100-200 more than when we stayed at the Luxor. Third time was at the Aria, another beautiful hotel and Great location. I personally, would stay on strip and pick a hotel between the Venetian and MGM. We have done a 3 day bus pass the last 2 times and find it to be clean and a good way to travel up and down the strip and to Fremont St. If you go to Fremont St. during the day, check out Container Park on Fremont St., just a block or two west from all the activities and lights. We would have never found it had it not been for a tour guide we had. Cute little shops and good Mexican food. We have done Fremont St. both at night and during the day. It is definitely a neat experience to see at night, with all the music and lights. I feel like you can spend 1-2 hrs there if that and be done. I have always booked through Vegas.com and if your dates are flexible, play around with different dates and you can see the difference in prices for hotel and flight packages. Depending on the time of year or what is going on in Vegas, the prices can take a huge jump. Depending on how many days your gonna be there. The Grand Canyon is beautiful to see. You lose a whole day if you do a bus tour to the Canyon. Unless, you like 100+ temps during the day and plan on spending your days at the pool, you might want to avoid going in July.

Golden Nugget on Fremont. Go to the strip, by bus and stay in Fremont at night. Free live music. Great food options, for a great price.

The first time we went we stayed at Circus Circus. It was cheaper but the room was beautiful. Can’t remember which one we stayed at last time but it cost more but wasn’t as nice.

I’m going back in May for what I think is my 20 th trip. I always suggest first timers to stay on the strip. If you are looking for moderate prices look at the mid strip hotels like Harrahs, The Linq, Flamingo, Bally’s, The Cromwell. Also check out the Trip Advisor Las Vegas forum. Read the FAQs and post and ask questions.
looking for an inexpensive hotel in your area will be visiting soon and staying a few days!!! Suggestions please and thank you

1) Check out Manis' Restaurant, corner of 10 th & Union streets for authentic Mom 'n' Pop cuisine. 2) No trip to PH is complete without a trip to Sarnia, Ontario, Canada via the bipolar Blue Water Bridge! While in Sarnia, be sure to dine at The Wharf, serving HALIBUT fish ' n' chips. Don't forget your passport if, for some reason, you want to return to the U.S. 3) Finally, park at Pine Grove Park and just relax and watch "ships that ply the lake" after dinner at the nearby Palms.
