Blue Spruce Inn in Port Austin. Super nice peeps & just a couple of blocks down from Lake Huron. And then Bridgeview Super 8 in Mackinac City. They had us pull our bikes up under the entry way so they could keep an eye on them from the front desk. Tunnel of Trees is a must!

Dune saloon in Grand Marais and Foggys in Christmas. The Driftwood in St Ignace is a hotel and bar/restaurant that took really good care of us too. Travers City we just stayed at Comfort Inn. Biker Friendly, let us park bikes right at front door so night clerk could watch them, cut the room rate and upgraded us to a hot tub.

Look a little farther away. For Rolling Thunder in DC, we stayed 2 hours away in Delaware to get a decent rate and 2 consecutive nights.
