Im looking for an optometrist in Port Huron/Fort Gratiot area that accepts meridian. I haven't had much luck, any help would be greatly appreciated.:)
Jennifer L. replied:
Henry Ford place across from the mall entrance covers both kids and adults with Meridian. However, for adults, it only pays around $32 towards frames, the rest you're responsible for. (If you want anti glare it's $60 whether child or adult. It's not covered)
Anyone work for an optometrist or has in the past that would be willing to give me some insight on what my rights are on a possible mess up on my prescription?
Kellie G. replied:
I work for an optometrist and depending on where you went, different offices have different policies. They should be able to just take a look and see if there is a possibility of a prism but in most cases places will do a one time only type of visit outside the 90 days for the sake of taking care of the patient, that is number one! I am sorry you had to deal with that, it can be very frustrating. As far as rights go, getting a new exam would be your best bet. Also, Dr Johnson is an ophthalmologist and typically deals with eye diseases rather than refractions (prescriptions for glasses). Good luck, hope you are able to find a resolution!
