Out of curiosity, where are you in the process of the food allergy journey? I ask because different doctors may be more appropriate depending on that. For example, I also used Dr. Diane for my daughter. She is very knowledgeable and patient. But when it came time to look for an actual treatment solution, it was time to look elswhere.

I went to ENT & Allergy Associates in PJS a few years ago and was unhappy. The office was chaotic, I saw one of the original partners and was misdiagnosed, he sort of hurriedly brushed my issue off. I left there thinking I was a hypochondriac. Eventually my primary convinced me that I was not, there was something wrong, and sent me to ENT & Allergy Associates in Hauppauge and I love it there. The office is impeccably organized, the staff are attentive and dedicated. I’m 6 months into allergy shots there and I’m really happy there even though it’s hike if it’s my day off and I’m not going on my way home from work. They have an app to book your very frequent appointments (my schedule changes everyday based on the number of patients I have so I make changes on the fly all the time with no problems). Dr. Helfner is the allergist and she’s great. Good luck!

Dr. Hussain is VERY patient my son (who is 2) and I both see him. He does not rush you out the door and takes his time to answer any questions. His hours are great and he never makes you wait in the waiting room.
