If you're willing to travel into the city-Dr James Gladstone. Mt Sinai Hospital. I can't say enough about him. He called from his home the next day to see how I was feeling. Volunteered to go to Haiti in 2010 to help hurricane victims. A kind, gentle soul. When I went for pt after, the therapist asked who did my surgery because they couldn't believe how well my shoulder moved the day after surgery. The owner of the pt place is Robert Wilutis, he studied at Mt Sinai and had worked with Dr Gladstone. He kept telling me how fortunate I was to have such a gifted surgeon. He only does shoulders. I also had right shoulder arthoscopy

Depending on your ins either Dr Chen at St Charles Ortho or Dr Stephens at Stony Brook Ortho. Both great. I just had Dr Stephens operate on me on April 24 for 2 herniated disks, L4-L5. It was the best thing I ever did. He was great. His staff is great and he takes his time with you. And all the follow up appointments you don't feel like your forgotten and lost in the mix.
Kristin W. replied:
Dr. Labiak...he's the best. Did my scoliosis surgery.
