Sea Sucker makes suction racks. They have at least one trad bar style. Think they're a bit pricey but it'd save your roof and they cake to install Edit: stupid autocorrect strikes again

One cheap option is an upgrade from pool noodles - closed cell foam can be used with straps run under the doors. It’s a bit more sturdy than noodles. There are some made for this purpose. For example: https://westerncanoekayak.com/kayak-foam-block-tall-non-skid-no-hole/

It certainly depends on how much you like the roof of your car but a solution is to slap a towel on the roof put the boat up there and run straps through the door frame. If you are hauling more than one 69 ing is the best strategy
