I’d highly recommend the Integrative Trauma Treatment Center. It sounds like they check every single make you’re looking for and they can be extremely cheap (my sessions are only $14/each with my insurance, cheapest and best therapy I’ve ever had).

Portland-therpist.org is a great resource to find practitioners. You can read their bios and see what their concentrations are as well as their approach type.

Jeffery York helped me through a lot of my childhood trauma and sexual abuse. Far and away he's the best counselor I've ever had. His sense of humor and variety of tools and styles were individually tailored to what we were currently working on. Do yourself a favor and see him!

I've been seeing [Antonia Mueller](https://greatsoulcounseling.com) for my own issues with trauma and she got me started doing EMDR which has been incredibly helpful.

Portland Therapy Center lets you search for a therapiat by focus, insurance, and city quadrant. Kind of like the psychology today site, but local. https://www.portlandtherapycenter.com

Send a message to Health Allies Counseling, they do EMDR (not sure if they have open slots for it rn tho) and I've really appreciated how they get all necessary information and package their treatment plan for you after 2 sessions as well. Really easy with tele-health.

Check out Portland Dialectical Behavioral Therapy Institute! I worked there as an intern with a PTSD therapy group and saw many clients come and go having learned and gained so much from their recovery process.

[Elaine Korngold](https://askcounseling.com/) does brainspotting, a modality discovered during EMDR. It's very effective for trauma work.

I don’t know what your insurance options are obviously, but Western Psychological Services has locations in the Portland/Vancouver area and some of their specialists have applied EMDR. Might be worth asking around. Sorry if that’s not very specific, I don’t want to give away too much personally identifiable info
makegoodchoicesok replied:
I've been using Firefly Institute for a year now and have seen great improvements. My current therapist doesn't use EMDR, but there are plenty of other clinicians there trained in it. Also therapy dogs.
she-larryous replied:
Kathy Zimmerman at Family to Family Counseling. She can do EMDR over Zoom sessions.

Beth Brudney is an absolutely amazing psychiatric nurse practitioner in downtown Portland. I don’t know if she has expertise with individuals on the spectrum, but she is an incredibly compassionate person and helped me a lot with depression and anxiety.

honestly, most counselor/psychologists will gladly give you some professional advice of who in the area specializes in your issues. For the most part, asking online is a hit and miss thing since asking amateurs about the skill level of a professional isnt going to get you good results about skill just how much they like someone.
