I had a fantastic experience getting all 4 of my wisdom teeth out ( that's saying A LOT) with Dr. Schachter at Dentists' Office of the Hudson Valley in Kingston (http://www.thedentistsoffice.com/).

I went to Dr. Clayton Hise to get my wisdom teeth out and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

Check out Dr. Marzullo in Poughkeepsie. I opted to stay awake for my wisdom tooth extraction and he played the Eagles while he told me all about his bicycle tour of Arizona. I came out happy as a clam.

Thanks so much for the information, everyone! Clearly Amie had the best experience, but I plan to look into all of these surgeons/practices (aside from Dr. Pai).
