Need recommendation for oral surgeon to remove wisdom teeth. Thanks.
Anne B. replied:
Our kids had positive experience with Dental Associates! Both had all 4 wisdom teeth out at once with minimal disruption to their busy schedules! And no swelling like I remember having back in the day! Ugh.

Peg A. replied:
danbury oral surgerions it use to be Dr.Kelly. They have a office on Erickson rd in New Milford
Patty B. replied:
Dr. Kurtz, opposite Agway by the high school. Daughter had hers out in August and it was a great experience (as good as it could be anyway, it is not a fun experience)
Jillian D. replied:
I love, love, love Dr. Theodos. I had my top wisdom teeth removed and he and his staff made me feel extremely comfortable. He was quick and I felt nothing. He asks how you are doing and doesn't push you to have drugs if you dont want to be knocked o ut. You can trust him. He is completely honest and is a very caring person. He even goes overseas to help people who need surgery on his own time, free of charge. He was very upfront with me that my bottom impacted wisdom teeth were too risky to remove given them being wrapped in nerves and an underlying medical condition that I have. He said I am older and they have finished growing anyway. He could have told me to remove them anyway, but he didn't! You will be in excellent hands there.
Garrett A. replied:
Yeah idk about Dr. Kurtz. He pulled my first tooth and I immediately woke up from the anesthetic...the nurse then had to hold me down while he knocked me out again. Regardless to say, when I woke up I was pretty pissed lol. I tried running out of that place as fast as possible all doped up. This was like six weeks ago too... Just some food for thought
Jean T. replied:
I work for Dr. Cuomo in Danbury. Even though I am an employee there and it sounds like advertising that is not the case here. I have heard many compliments from patients and have witnessed myself his incredible table side manner. The surgical assistants as well are very attentive and caring.
Sarah G. replied:
Dr Kurtz did some work for me when I was pregnant...he was very patient with me as every time he tried I wanted to throw up. Dr Kelly did two of my wisdom teeth 14 years ago...swift and no bruising very good work
Lisa A. replied:
Dr. Louis Theodos, Federal Rd, Danbury (203) 790 - 6288. I had impacted and infected wisdom teeth and needed emergency surgery. He took me right in. His staff was soooo nice. I never felt a thing. I recommend him to everyone.

Danielle L. replied:
I had a great experience with Dr. Kurtz!!! and they say the older you are the harder the recovery?! i had little to no pain, and zero swelling... all 4 out.
Does anybody have recommendations for good oral surgeons? Was reading some reviews for Dr Kurtz and they weren't great. Looking for other names.
Jenn D. replied:
I'm using Dr. Clark in Danbury. He's awesome! The office staff is also great and helped me dissect my insurance plan in greater detail too. http://www.neimplantandoralsurgery.com/meet-us/meet-the-doctors/matthew-clark-dds-md/
Janice L. replied:

Heather O. replied:
Dr. Kurtz was wonderful with my 10 year old!
Kristin H. replied:
I went to Dr.Gideon in Danbury. The staff is...not your best friend...but he was an excellent surgeon. Still meaning to write him a thank you card for taking such good care of me. Plus, they accept Husky for most procedures.
Kristin H. replied:
Oh, also Dr.Cuomo. Heard wonderful things about him and went in for a consultation. Made me feel so much better about the procedure, but unfortunately he did not accept my insurance. Very nice surgeon though.
Audrey G. replied:
Good lord avoid Dr Kurtz!!! He damn near killed me and falsified my file. I stopped breathing because he over dosed me with anesthesia (according to an anesthesiologist) and told me it was no big deal. My chest hurt and was bruised from his pounding on me and that was the 1 st pain I felt when I woke up, not from the 2 wisdoms I had removed. He never even checked my vitals before letting me leave or called to check on me. My file says no complications. I'm pretty sure not breathing is a complication for me!!!
Jenn M. replied:
Dr. Cuomo in Danbury.. He was great with my kiddo
Jennefer F. replied:
Dr Gideon in Danbury is awesome!!
Andrea L. replied:
Dr. Theoudus in Danbury was amazing I used him in Feb and he was great. I also used Dr. Clark and was more comfortable with Dr. Theoudus.
Tricia P. replied:
Dr Kurtz did a wonderful job with my wisdom teeth
Jillian D. replied:
Dr. Theodos is absolutely wonderful!!! He is so funny, and calming, and like a gentle giant (the guy is tall!) He made what I thought would be a terrifying experience actually quite pleasant. His staff kept me calm when I no longer felt my throat during the numbing process (I only had the tops removed and remained awake). I like that 1) he is very honest because he actually told me at my age to not try to remove the bottoms because they were wrapped in nerves and no longer growing, and 2) he is flexible and discusses your sedation options without pushing you one way or the other. He was also very responsive during my followup questions. He is a great guy all around.
Looking for advice; we were recently told that our 12 year old needs a root canal, we are stunned to say the least, anyone else out there have experience with this? ...
Jessica H. replied:
We love Dr Mullen. All of them
Jessica K. replied:
Definitely get a second opinion - a root canal for a 12 year old? Love Dr Monsarrat in Kent!
Nina C. replied:
We go to Leila Chahine in Danbury and she is GREAT with kids!
Denise W. replied:
its a root canal, not a hysterectomy. why the panic? call Dr. Mullen!!
Amanda H. replied:
Get a 2 nd opinion. Root canals are very expensive and may not be the issue. Could just be swollen sinus from allergies etc. After a 2 nd opinion if you still need to get one done, Dr. Mascia out of brookfield is great. Also, depending on the practice you went to, your results will be different. I went to a prominent practice for a few years and was told I had a cavity in 6 of my teeth. I decided to try Dr. Waldman, and he told me my teeth were fine and I didn't need 1 of the 6 that I was told I did. I have been going to him for about 10 years because he is so honest. and not once in 10 years have I had an issue with my so called "cavity filled teeth"
Andrea L. replied:
I had Dr. Peter Mullen do a root canal last year and it was easy, he was wonderful and very calming. They don't offer any gas there though so if you need it you may need a different office. Have you had a second opinion? Dr. D. At dental associates is good as well for pediatrics.
Kris F. replied:
I would get a second opinion. I felt we got a lot of "marketing pressure" along the way that was not necessary. We like Dr Mullen who has always steered us well and takes a much more balanced approach than our previous from when kids were small.
Sherri K. replied:
If it was Dr. Bialik, DEFINITELY get a second opinion!
Audrey G. replied:
Take him/her to Dr Mascia in Brookfield. He's the best around and specializes in root canals. My son had to have 6 including front teeth. He was amazing with him!
Anyone know of oral surgeons in New Milford or surrounding areas that accept payment plans? Thanks!
Amanda K. replied:

Crystal D. replied:

Susan C. replied:
