We stayed with our doctor and moved to Swedish with him. Dr. Thomas Monk (he is a pediatrician) otherwise, we (Husband and I) go to Dr. Anderson

The first time my husband went to Dr. Reichley, doctor said, hmm that name seems familiar. Turned out he had delivered our daughter 39 years ago as a navy doctor! Cliff sees Dr. Mendelssohn now and we are very impressed with him. Great follow up.

We still see Dr Lehman and he is phenomenal. He takes so much time and attention with us in person, but also responds quickly by email. My husband has Skype with him regarding a health issue and we can almost always get in same day if we need it. We couldn't be happier with direct primary care. We are getting way more of our provider's attention than we ever got at the Drs. Clinic.

I miss matty so so much ! I loved how we had the same views on medicine and she was never pushy worth my care of for my kids . My kids see a naturopath in Kingston, and I am seeing Amy Anderson in poulsbo . Dr Jungkeit has been amazing for our WHOLE family. Two little kids and husband with tonsil and adenoidectomies and a one year old for ear tubes. He and his whole staff care so much for his patients and we are so happy to have him in Poulsbo!

Dr Rice at Dr's clinic is the most amazing doctor ever. He called on a Sunday to check how our son was doing after his tongue tie surgery he had on that Friday before. I wish he was a GP and not an ENT cause we would use him for all our general needs.

Dr Rice is by far amazing. He was do nice, was very informative while making sure I understood everything he was saying. During my sons surgery he called from the OR to let me know my son was okay (he was freaking out when the nurse took him back). He also called the day after we got home to make sure my son was recovering okay. My son had his tonsils and adenoids taken out at the age of 2 due to 6 strep throat back to back with 3 of them pairing with double ear infections. Dr Rice is by far amazing.

Dr Kessler 779-4368. He was great with both of my kids and me as an adult!

Dr Kessler hands down he's absolutely amazing. Dr jungkeit is terrible! He made my then 4 year old suffer tonsilitus for 3 months kept prescribing allergy meds. Finally took her to Dr Kessler and he did emergency surgery to remove them. He also did mine as an adult. Highly recommend Dr kessler

We LOVED children's hospital when I was going there. I have lupus and kidney issues, so slightly different by I see a variety of Drs at The Polyclinic in Seattle and love them. I love that all of my Drs are connected and work together regarding my case. The Polyclinic is a very simple drive straight up the hill from the ferry. U realized these suggestions are not in Poulsbo, but we've found that the slightly further trip was sooo worth it to get some of the best Drs. Good luck!

We see Emily Macdonald at Sound Pediatrics. She's been there about a year and replaced our previous doctor. We like her better than the last one (she was great too though). Very down to earth and treats the kid like the patient, not just going down a list with the parent. They also have walk-in hours each day from 8-9 AM, and when we haven't been able to get in then (when they were really busy) they saw us later that day. There are two pediatricians at this practice. I love Sounds Pediatrics. They have great doctors and walk in appointments from 8-9 in the morning.

Okay so, I had neurological issues as a child. I had epilepsy. My pediatric neurologist was Dr. Makari at Mary Bridge and my mom loved him. I was old enough to remember him and I remember him being very caring.

I don't know if they've got room as they keep their number of patients limited, but Drs. Chymiy and Matty at Pacifica Medicine & Wellness have been taking care of me and my family for about 13 years. Love them.

Kim Dougan on Bainbridge is a great family practice doctor. She covers everything and has no hesitation sending you to a specialist if needed.

I love Dr. Dougan at the Harrison Health Partners clinic on Bainbridge. I see her, my husband sees her, my kids see her. I had an IUD get lost and she was wonderful about everything and did not hesitate to send me to Dr. Hebbard at Kitsap OBGYN when it went beyond a normal visit.

Is it the actual clinic your done with or a specific doctor? We really like Dr Fleischmann. If your looking for a different Facility then I highly recommend Pacific's Medicine and Wellness. They are right by Central Market in Poulsbo. Dr. Chimiy and Dr. Matty are amazing and your teenage girls will love them!

I love Dr. Emily Bronec at Bainbridge Pediatrics. She is young herself and always helps my 14-year-old feel comfortable when she needs to do an exam or talk about adolescent health; makes it seem as natural as possible.

You should consider US Family Health plan through Tricare. We used it in the DC area and now here. Almost exactly like Tricare Prime but no going on base! They recently started it in this area. I highly recommend you take a look.

Harrison Health Partners in Poulsbo. They have 2-3 female providers.

Peninsula Community Clinic? Not sure if that is the name...it is close. Pay as you can. Near Chocomo, liquor store.

Don't use the ER for non-emergent care!! Peninsula Community Health is a great choice. I hope you can get an appointment quickly.

We used to see Dr. Hawley and loved her. She is not accepting new patients right now.

We see Dr. Hoisington at the Silverdale drs clinic and love him! There are a great team of doctors there.

I like Dr Voegtlen Kitsap children's Clinic. Not touchy feely but highly recommended by Dr Lindquist ( head of kitsap county health ) & a pediatrician himself. We love him.

We use to have Dr Hawley she was good. Now my sons see Viola Medina at Virginia Mason Winslow.

Thank you so much everyone for the recommendations! I knew I should have come here before making my sons annual exam. Katy Davies Ray, as a newer resident I find it impossible to locate information on most anything and in general, info on the internet is lousy or for this area. Anytime I follow a recommendation I found online, I am very dissapointed.

We just saw Dr. Warren at Sound Pediatrics in Poulsbo for our twins and were pleased. They also have walk in hours from 8-9 am, which we actually used before our first scheduled well visit. They have a family practice there as well.

My two oldest just saw Dr. Chow at The Doctor's Clinic in Silverdale recently after our pediatrician retired. She was so nice. She was great with the kids. They really enjoyed their visit. She listened to my concerns and had some good information for me, as well. Dr. Hawley is awesome, too, but I don't think she's accepting new patients.

I really love Dr Bronold. She is at Kitsap Childrens Clinic. I don't care for Voegtlen. But I just choose not to see him if its urgent or I take them to urgent care. Bronold is understanding, she walks you through everything, she listens, she tell you her opinion but doesn't push. We have had her for 4 years now and had seen her previously before she was our primary. I cannot praise her enough.

Sound pediatrics is amazing. We see Dr. Warren because Dr. Hawley wasn't accepting new patients. We are very happy with her as well.

I see Erica Bottai at PCHS. The clinic may get a bad rap. But honestly shes the best doctor my kids have ever had. And theyve had some pretty scary health problems. Shes a family doctor, not a pediatrician. My whole family uses her and we love her.

We have used Dr. Hawley since my first child was born in 2003 and have never had to change. She has her own practice, Sound Pediatrics, in Poulsbo up by the College.

Dr. Fleischman at the Doctors Clinic in Poulsbo is fantastic! Our son is in the autism spectrum and had a meltdown during his appointment - rather than try to talk around him, she sat on the floor and played with him to help him calm down. She finished his exam not he floor and worked with him at his pace - I'd never choose anyone over her! Our whole family sees her and she has been hands down one of the best most attentive doctors we've ever seen.

Dr. Anderson is wonderful and she does care about her patients. She is so booked because everyone likes her. You can get in earlier if you have something wrong with you and not just a physical. If you call in the mornings right when they open you can get in sometimes if they have concellations. I have.

There is a new pediatrician in the Poulsbo Doctors Clinic named Brad Anderson.. he’s a younger doctor. We love him. I’ve paged him on the weekend and he calls right back. He is great! He also use to work at a Children’s Hospital.

Dr. Monk at swedish is AMAZING ❤ returns calls immediately and also responds to the online portal as well. My daughter recently got a popcorn kernel stuck in her nose for over a week. We couldn't get it out he never gave up or thought I was crazy when we got half of it out. He's awesome easy to talk to and non judgemental which I appreciate

We are retired and have Prime. Thankfully, we almost never have to go to the base hospital. Our scripts are filled through the mail, unless immediately needed, in which case we go to Rite Aid. This has worked out well with our daughter in college out of state.

We have Tricare Prime have been retired for 17 years we continued our Care at Bremerton Naval Hospital with our family practice doctor dr. Hamilton he is always late but I prefer him being late and thorough than being rushed not having been listened to. I am also private duty elderly caregiver. My client who use Tricare and Medicare for their care with civilian doctors. At the age of 95 you would think they would stop begging my client to have a mammogram. It is about money in the private sector I have not found one doctor that does not rush my client in and out. One of my clients does get her prescriptions through the mail which is a huge benefit. I truly believe in the long run we made the right decision to stay with Naval Hospital Bremerton. And as another person posted there is no guarantee you would ever be able to get back into the military treatment facility. Tricare standard you pay a lot more co-pays which can add up for instance I had a fall as a result of that fall I had an Urgent Care visit I had a regular family practice doctor visit and have so far had for Orthopedic appointment that adds up Although our co-pay is minimal when we see an outside provider.

Was on Prime, used Harrison Health Partners in Poulsbo for my doctor, Express Scripts for prescription with Kitsap Pharmacy at Central Market when I needed a quick fill. Other than when she was out for a pregnancy I've been with Dr Tomada for 6 years.

I have tricare standard even though my husband is AD . I've always preferred it because I like choosing my doctors . I see Dr Charles Nelson with Sweedish on Bainbridge for my GP. I think specialty care is challenging on this side of the sound but that's not specific to tricare, but it sounds like you are relatively healthy so it may not be an issue.
