Dr Cheung is good, Silverdale. If you are up for traveling to Seattle Children's, I have been much happier with their optho care. Waitlist is long though.

There isn't one. We were referred to the Seattle children's hospital and the soonest appointment they could give us was the end of November and this was a couple weeks back. We ended up changing our insurance all around to get seen by Dr Cheung.

My girls have seen Dr Jason Cheung since they were babies and I've been really happy with him. He is only in Silverdale now I believe.

YES!! We love dr. Rudensey. I just googled him and evidently, we are not alone as he got 5 stars on health grades from four people (and none were me). https://www.healthgrades.com/provider/terry-rudensey-y8phd. The only written comment is this one: Roslyn in Chimacum WA. | Mar 28, 2017 I was was told by a very well known cataract surgeon in Seattle that changing my eyeglass prescription would have no effect on my vision and I definitely needed cataract surgery in both eyes asap. I decided to check in with Dr. Rudensey and he was able to give me a new prescription for glasses that made such a huge positive difference in my vision, that I now have the option to put off the surgery! I'm so grateful! I really like him as well. He's very patient, thorough and caring. PS I was in yesterday to the optical dept (not the dr.) to pick up contacts for my son and couldn't help to peruse the frames. For the first time in a lONG time, there are a ton of new cute frames--even in the small sizes. Good news:) And for anyone needing progressives: when I needed my first pair, I got them at Costco and could NOT get used to them and had to return them. I got very expensive glasses elsewhere which worked great for me and I was told Costco's process was older and outdated. However, since then, Costco upgraded to a superior digital press and I can report happily that they are perfect for me--both sunglasses and two pairs of regular glasses.
