I will tell you stay away from Lowes. They gave us a quote that was ridiculously high and the sales guys that came out were super pushy. We liked Quality Heating and Air, they seemed fair and the prices were not bad. We ended up not putting Central AC in after all. The costs outweighed the days we really needed it and we have portable ac units that work just fine.

We went with Quality Heating. I have heard great things about Dana's as well, but they quoted us $2000 more for the same exact work and equipment.

We had quotes from both Dana's and Quality Heating. Dana's said they would not give a military discount and Quality would so we went with them. That was about five or six years ago and we are still very happy with ours.
