Patrick Shwartz I like Steve's recommendation of doctors. Southern's Michael McNulty or Claude Williams would be great people to see. If you go to Tulane Institute of Sports Medicine I would see Michael OBrien. It sounds from your description that you have some structural damage of a sort or the 4 weeks off would have helped. So the best course really is to see a physician and get a MRI. I would guessing otherwise without a physical exam; though your deep joint pain sounds like the hallmark of a labral or capsular injury.

Palmetto Pediatrics is the only practice with a special needs coordinator, Kim Conent, for its patients (as far as I know). They are a very proactive practice as well. They don't take the "wait and see" approach. They are good about referring to other specialists if needed.

Dr. Webber at Lexington Peds is wonderful...as well as the other doctors in the practice.

Dr Trey Castles. He is at pediatric associates. A bit of a drive but he's worth it!!!!

Depending on your location, I would, without hesitation, recommend Dr. Kyle Guyton at Lake Murray Pediatrics or Dr. Luke Bonnett at Chapin Pediatrics, PA. Both are godly men and go above and beyond as pediatricians. Also, nurses and staff at both practices are wonderful. Your children will be loved and cared for at either place. Welcome, and blessings on you and your family!

Dr. Thomas at Sandhills Peds is AMAZING!!! My daughter was seeing Dr. Guyton at Lexington Peds and was not being treated properly and he was not very informative... It was not a good experience for me; had several others say the same with their own experiences there... But as soon as we switched pediatrician to Sandhills my daughter has been healthy ever since!! I would recommend Dr. Thomas to anyone!!!!

Dr Ali Araghi at Sunshine Coast Family Clinic in Buddina. He is not cheap but is brilliant. I also have Hashimotos. He takes you seriously, is extremely thorough and will prescribe meds that other doctors refuse to even consider. Most dr's have no idea about Hashimotos. I was genuinely surprised at how knowledgeable and thorough he was. Very happy with him. Feel free to pm me if you like. Good luck.:-)

Chilli Trish, I don't think there is. You can always try the Lucy Rose Clinic. They are a thyroid clinic in Marcoola. It is nowhere near as expensive as everyone else. First appt is around $140 and that includes a free thyroid screen. Follow up appts are less. I am canceling my appt for there though as I am spending lots of money on Dr Araghi. And I also have PCOS so a thyroid only clinic is now useless to me.:-(

I recommend seeing an endocrinologist if you're not already. I see Dr. Bunick in oak ridge. I have hypothyroidism. Ended up with thyroid cancer. Mine was completely removed.

Grave's disease and some types of hypothyroidism are auto-immune disorders. People will spend years & lots of money on doctors & medicines, but there's a much better way to treat auto-immune disorders...with food. Dr. Terry Pallatt in Bay Shore, NY Rated a top thoracic surgeon in Suffolk County. Did my URL for Stage IB and did the followup CT's that found the recurrence that restaged me IIIA/B. The oncologist never ordered and mop up chemo or follow up CT's.

Dr Shah at Lehigh/Muehlenburg took amazing care of my Dad and they fought his Stage 4 Lung Cancer together for over 2 years. The hospital was full of wonderful people, sometimes I stayed a week when he was there, they took care of me as well. I will always be grateful.

I gave birth at Jameson with no problem but I attribute that to Dr Carlson. I absolutely love her. She left Jameson and delivers in Farrell. She is the kind of dr u can ask anything... No matter how embarrassing or private the bad thing about a dr who doesn't use Jameson is if u have any emergency u will have to go yo the nearest hospital-- Jameson.

Dr. Ciocca delivered both my children. The last was at Beaver Medical Center and it was lovely. Beautiful facility, nice nurses, and WONDERFUL view of outside from my big private room. I LOVED Ellwood but they took the maternity ward out. Dr. Ciocca ' s office is officially in Beaver now but not at the hospital center. I can't tell you how much I loved Beaver and the treatment I got from everyone was top notch!

Also the pediatrician's they have visit Beaver Medical Center were fantastic. . I wish they were closer because I would go to them on a regular basis. My cousin gave birth last year at UPMC Farrell and she had a lot of mistakes done by the nurses there.
