My husband still wears dress shirts for work and needs them professionally cleaned and starched. I used to take them to Moore's Dry Cleaner before they were closed...

Richard Kerr....what happened at Colt? Maybe i should quit while I'm ahead. Haven't had a problem....yet.
Janet H. replied:
Moore is definitely closed. Used Colt a few times and NOT happy with their quality or pricing. Trying Village Cleaners on Fair St. Can't wait to see how much laundering and pressing three shirts will be.

Talk to Dave at Mountainaire Cleaners on Sheldon and Montezuma
Ray S. replied:
At Man at Leisure we recommend Artisan Cleaners. If you stop by, I can give you a coupon to get one shirt cleaned and pressed for free to try them out.

Artisan Cleaners off of Iron Springs is open. I work there but it is open for pick up or drop off only. I dont believe there is any place here in Prescott or Prescott Valley that does Saturday service. Goodluck.

Can anyone recommend a dry cleaners that's reasonably priced? My comforter is too big for our machines here so it's the only option I have to get it cleaned.

In Prescott there's the Cleaning Machine laundromat on Gurley across from the old Washington School. It has 3 big washers & worked really well for my queen comforters & sleeping bags. Someone is always on duty there, they have change & the place is usually clean & stocked with laundry supplies if you need them
ISO a dry cleaner to take my down comforter that won't charge me an arm and a leg to clean!!!!
Phaedra J. replied:
Yes. Those are great suggestions, Erin Walsh. I do the same thing with the drying. Finish them off at home or if it's warm and sunny, hang them out awhile. The double rinse is a great idea. I'll do that next time.
Dee L. replied:
I "dry clean" our comforters in my dryer by using the Woolite Dry Cleaning Sheets. Very easy, inexpensive and does a great job. If you need to spot clean, you use a sheet to do that. You need an extra capacity dryer though. I would never pay $35!
