Dr Nora at Swedish Cherry Hill in Seattle. other DR.s told me that that is who they would pick for thier own kids. Plus he is highly respected by L and I. If he says you need surgery, they will not question his opinion.

Thanks everyone My Doctor who did the first surgery called yesterday and told me about Dr. Nora. I have to have a MRI before seeing Dr. Nora. So I'm going to try to get that done ASAP. Thanks again for your kind help. Love ya Chip

13.McAllister, Debra, MD 1450 5 th St SEPuyallup, WA 98372 (253) 697-3550 This is who did my hysterectomy. She is clinical but saved my life when I stopped breathing during surgery. Very no-nonsense. She is Multicare and they took my insurance. Hope this helps.

It does. My original doc ( Dr. Wu) called me on the phone today. Couldn't believe it, cuz most docs don't call you at home, but he is the nicest guy ever, but his staff, or him didn't read information on my records that I had umbilical mesh implanted last May. Anyway, he referred me to Dr sprake, who referred me to women health clinic at the UW. He said there is another place that does the Robotic surgery...Swedish hospital. I need the special surgery because my pelvis is a mess with scar tissue from other surgeries, and fibroids, and cysts, and the risk for complication is high. Anyway, he said he will find out if they take my insurance, and will call me back to discuss possible referral. If they don't take my insurance, I will be contacting your doctor in Puyallup, to see what she can do. This mesh implant is also making the choices difficult for surgeons. I am also trying to avoid having a painful, and expensive biopsy done first, by just having the hysterectomy, and be done with it all. If there is cancer, it will be removed too..lol Too many medical bills right now...and a Robotic surgery is the most expensive....but the LEAST invasive. One more thing, after hysterectomy, they told me I cannot take hormone replacement because I have had breast cancer. they said it could return, but I don't see how since I don't have breast anymore. I keep forgetting to ask doctors about this. guess I need to google.
