I second the Tangles. But I see Sara there. She's been doing my hair since 2015 and does an amazing job on my color. I typically get wild colors and she is the best colorist I've ever worked with, not to mention she is so kind. I adore her and will never use another stylist. Tangles is definitely a bit pricier than the hair cut shops, but you get what you pay for, and I find the prices fairly reasonable for such good quality. I always get a full balayage with a trim/cut and style. And it runs me around $175. I have never left unhappy either.

I know it is an hour drive; but, my wife just had one done by [Kim Catalano](https://hairstyles.kimcatalano.com/) in Raleigh. It helps we live in Raleigh; however, for the cost and impact of everything it would even be acceptable to drive an hour for how things went. Kim literally specializes in them and as a dude with long hair I am considering going for a subtler appearance to what Kyle Hill has. Kim even trained over in London and has years of experience.

Erica Lockhart at Elle Hair and Skin Spa beside kohls in the shopping center on falls and durant! She's exceptional! She's the owner and a perfectionist. The whole salon always keeps up with the latest trends. Or Ashley at Elle. Erica refers a lot of her clients to Ashley if she is booked. Which is what happened with me and now I go to Ashley. Everyone there is great! Head massage/complimentary wine it's fab!!!!
