For a non-denominational church go to Unity of the Triangle on Women's Club Drive, or Unity Of Raleigh off Creedmoor Road, or my favorite, Triangle Center for Spiritual Living. Triangle Center for Spiritual Living is great, but you have to drive a bit.

Dr Randall Benefield is an awesome dentist and the staff are amazing. Asbury United Methodist obviously isn't non denominational, but the 9:30 am service is contemporary, the people are great and the message is fabulous. Following for other good suggestions for Italian. MOD pizza and Chow off Creedmor are good restaurants. Not traditional Italian.

*Vet for my dog Bowman Animal Hospital, corner of Creedmoor & Strickland, is a top-notch, cutting edge vet. I've been taking my cats (& ferrets) there since '97. http://www.bowmananimalhospital.com *Dentist who does it all! With minimal pain lol (Oral surgery like wisdom teeth and basic dental) Triangle Dentistry, corner of Saw Mill & Six Forks, is a well-established practice with excellent care. However, they do refer out to other amazing specialists for oral surgery. I've been going to this practice for 42 years since it was only one doc in an old house on Six Forks! Dr Povlich has since retired, but he built up a exemplary team & office. Drs Rich, Smith, & Tart are excellent in their own right. My mom who grew up with painful dental experiences loves this practice. http://www.triangledentistry.com *Good Italian food and pizza

Rolesville Animal Hospital has always taken care of us! Don't do nail salons or eye brow waxing so no help there. Lacey Hunt or any of the girls at Southern Roots Salon are phenomenal! It's in Youngsville, but well worth it and it's really not far at all. May be far distance wise, but time wise takes just as long to get to other salons in and around the area as taking back roads to Southern Roots takes. Dentists around here are tricky, I use a dentist in Henderson that I've used for YEARS. But that's a little far. I don't pay anything out of pocket (other than premiums) for my dental cleanings. But I've heard horror stories of people getting stuck with large dental bills. Your best bet on finding a dentist is contacting your insurance and finding out the ones close by. I've seen some insurances have 2-3 options you can choose from and that's it. I've used an oral surgeon once, and he was a separate entity from my dentist. I haven't been there, but met some really great folks at Restoration Church. They seem to really cater to the young adult crowd. Welcome!

I like Cara Harrison at Samuel Cole on Six Forks A LOT. I am very picky about my hair and she is great. She herself has reeeally thick hair, and I know she is good at straightening/thinning/whatever you need done to have it look the best. If you tell them that Charlotte Yongue referred you, you get $20 off your first haircut:D (Full disclosure, I get a $20 credit).
