Hi Caryn!..... My son, Brandon aka BamBam went to Woodstock last summer and had a BLAST. Since Norwich is now only a daycamp, I asked Pickles for some recommendations... BamBam's LOVED it there... he went last summer for 2 weeks... and now this summer, he's going up 2 weeks from tomorrow, and will stay for 3 weeks. He also talked 3 of his buddies into going too. In addition, after I've described it to some fellow Norwich alums... Julie Horwitz's kids are there... and also Marcy Merrill's too. They do "Family Camp" on Memorial Day and Labor Day weekends. BamBam and I went together last year on Memorial day before BamBam's first summer... and again, this Memorial day. We're also going to be going for their Labor Day family camp at the end of the summer. Here's a link to pics from this year's Family Camp there: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10200887462496116.1073741828.1451462442&type=1&l=d39 f4 a694 d Here's a link of BamBam there from last summer, during regular camp: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.4064060527154.166354.1451462442&type=1&l=b91 eef7699 It is VERY similar to Norwich... only has about 250 campers I think... Its terrific. You should consider coming up for Labor Day Family camp to check the place out... their number is (860) 974-1336 and their website is http://www.CampWoodstock.org

I think the only one of those in Central Jersey is Middlesex Community College though Stage Door, Interlochen, Frenchwoods etc are AMAZING programs but they are audition only. The deadlines are probably coming up. And I do hear that Chatauqua is a good program, but it's in upstate NY. For info about the summer musical theatre camps/classes at Count Basie, go to Countbasietheatre.org and click on the "education" link for summer schedule info.
