Dr Andrea Steele at Southlake Clinic in Covington is very good. Also Dr. Marcia Jordan in Tukwila near Ikea. Her practice is specialized towards women and she has been my primary care doctor since I moved here in 2001. Both are easy to talk to, listen and do not rush you out the door.
Becky M. replied:
Following.... New here too, and looking for Dr., Dentist, and Orthodontist!
Kirstin S. replied:
Welcome! I see Dr. Mehta at Lake Sawyer Clinic, and my daughter sees Travis Dalton there. I've seen all the providers at that clinic when I've had to be seen last minute, and really liked them all. Have heard really good things about providers at the Maple Valley clinic too. Both are UW Medicine, which in full disclosure I work for. I think it says a lot when health care employees choose to stay in their own system though.
Jennifer B. replied:
Ginger Allen in MV, Travis Dalton in MV (Lk Sawyer practice) are both fantastic! Our Dr is S. Markegard, however we've seen both of the other Drs. and know they're taking new clients
Jen K. replied:
Dr. Markegard is always recommended but hasn't taken any new patients in awhile. However Hubby sees Travis Dalton and so have I and we like him.
Susan B. replied:
Mark McDaniels in Renton is a great dentist. Dr Haeger in Kent and Maple Valley was the orthodontist who gave my children beautiful teeth.
Teresa L. replied:
Dr. Gary Kato in Renton by valley hospital... I'm not sure if he's excepting new patients but he is wonderful! My husband and I have had him for over 25 years
Kristy R. replied:
Dr. Phillip Chan out of UW Medicine at Valley Medical Center, Kent office. Had him for our family dr for 13 years. Best Dr I ever had!!! Never had a problem getting appts, and if we contacted him for a question or refill he always got back to us within their 24 time frame. I would refer him to anyone!!!
I'm looking for female primary care physician in the Kent or Covington area who's accepting new patients. Anyone have a recommendation? Thank you!
