If any reputable rescue can take this dog in, we can transfer her into Forget Me Not under our "Sammi Fund" senior dog program (see http://youcaring.com/sammifund for more info). We have a lot of GP lovers in our area, and we have started "specializing" in senior dogs (yeah, we're a bunch of softies). We have a volunteer that will be in Monroe on 2/28 and could bring this sweet old girl back, if there is a rescue that can retrieve her and pass her along to us. (We aren't allowed to intake out of county pets from individuals, but can transfer in from rescues and shelters).

Dr. Jonathan Collin. He has an office in Kirkland, not my doc, but he is the Editor I.C. of the Townsend Letter, and is highly reputable in Integrative Med. Circles.

We love Dr. Sari Gallegos, ND & Accupuncurist. She has a small practice, and is busy, but great! She is in the Healing Arts building near Whole Foods Roosevelt.
Margaret C. replied:
Yeah pretty much everyone at Seattle Healing Arts is cool.

I have no experience with this guy, but I really like his business model considering all the garbage surrounding mandatory insurance. Second, he's very pro free-market. Lastly, everything I can find online shows excellent reviews. http://www.komonews.com/.../Local-organization-offering...

Dr David Harvey in Fremont

My husband sees Martin Cahn who's practice is in Fremont. He LOVES him. I know many of the nurses at Ballard Swedish mentioned to me that they also see Dr Cahn as their personal doctor, which I see as high praise.
Briana L. replied:
If he/she is open to an ND, both my 11 month old and I see Melissa Larson at Ballard Natural Medicine and she is all of those traits you described and then some. She also prescribes regular medicine where appropriate and draws from western and eastern medical philosophies.

Dr Tracy McDaniel is amazing. She is a naturopath & a former midwife.

Dr Rachel Torrez in Ballard - she always keeps me calm and can usually see me same day.
Katie B. replied:
There's always me! My office has appointments tomorrow and Saturday as well as next week. I am very mellow and friendly because doctor-patient relationships are very important. I'm also covered on almost every insurance plan, including most AppleHealth/Medicaid plans. www.stoneturtlehealth.com

My whole family sees Clara Chan at Swedish Queen Anne -- have for years! She is very calm and comforting. Totally talked me off the ledge (so to speak) when I was going through postpartum after my first baby.
