Sports Centre as you can get loads of other activities if you 'join' and, of course, it has the swimming pool. Gym then swim for example. Go for it. Lovely and friendly staff and not so many leather strapped muscle men hogging the place, usually more rather flabby mature geezers like myself (apologies everyone else).

Have you considered a personal trainer? It can make workouts so much less intimidating.. I’d highly recommend AMK Training. Anne-Marie is absolutely fantastic and even though she’s based at the leisure centre (which is mixed) I never really notice anyone else while we’re in there because she keeps you so focused and motivated!
