Helga P. replied:
You must be talking about the Dear Animal Hospital. They were our vet at one time but I was not happy with them. I would recommend Steveston Veterinary Hospital. They are the best! We have been going to them for about 8 years. They are at Gilbert and Francis. Dr. Galloway and Dr. Millar are the vets.
Tammy R. replied:
I only went there when it was owned by dr. Greenberg. I now take mine to no. 2 road animal hospital by woodwards with Dr. Aulakh. They are great and treat lots of RAPS animals.
Ninabelle A. replied:
Thank you everyone!! The plan is to wait until Dr. Dabri comes in at 11 am to do a "free" x-ray follow up to see if she pooped out whatever is in her.... if not, we are planning on taking her to her regular vet in Vancouver if he insists in surgery. We read tglhese reviews online and from you guys.. they're all negative so we don't really trust her there. All these recommendations for Richmond area vets are helpful for next time something happens. Thank you
Julie H. replied:
Have to agree with Steveston vet clinic...always good and lots of experience
Raechel T. replied:
Hope she's ok soon. We take our Leo to Trenant Park Vet in Ladner. They are excellent.
Petra W. replied:
I highly recommend Landsdowne Animal Hospital. The vets there are terrific. Dr. Rana is our main vet but the other vet is also excellent.
I am partial to Island Vet on 4 & Westminster. They've been great with my pups, and saved me literally a few thousand $$$ on a very sick little shih tzu who is perfectly fine now, and without the surgical intervention.
Hilary R. replied:
I was told by a well renowned feline vet specialist in Vancouver (a friend) who practically knows all the vets in North America, to NEVER use Dear Animal hospital. If the pup is that sick go to the Vancouver Animal Emergency at 7 th and Alberta. I use Island Vet at Westminster and 4Rd and really like Dr Yvonne and Dr Sarah.
This is one of the saddest bunnies we're ever had. :( This little guy came in missing most of his tail -- something or somebunny had grabbed him -- and his stub is not...
Rabbitats replied:
Tailor will need his tail amputated. :( Trying to book an appointment now. Donations will be really appreciated. It won't be cheap, surgeries never are. Thank you all for caring about this poor little guy. If the foster people can text me at 6046081300, that would be great.
I'm looking for a good and affordable (I have 2 dogs) Veterinarian in Richmond... Any recommendations?
Claudia R. replied:
I'm taking my babies there and I like Dr. Joseph, but he has become really expensive, considering that I have 2 dogs. Antonio and Bella are due for 1 vaccine each ($25 per dog), plus exam ($55 for the firs dog and $44 for the second) and they need blood work done ($378). I need to find a place less expensive.
Barbara G. replied:
try Dr. Dear at the no. 2 road and blundell office it is call the dear animal hospital.
Aw, our little harlequin baby has coccidia. :( The previous tests on the mom came back negative for everything and the rest of the family seems fine, as with most bugs,...
