it may be a little ways from you, but in Colonial Heights on the Blvd. a place named Expressions Jewelry is great and they do it right there, no sending your ring off, and only wait time is maybe an hour. There number is 520-4434... it's the only place I trust. .

Rick Glasco is a wonderful Jeweler and great to work with. His prices are very reasonable and fair. He is located at 7500 Lee Davis Rd. in Mechanicsville across from Lee Davis School. His phone # is 569-0303.

Both Rick Glasco and William Jeffery's used to work at Capri Jewelers. I have worked with both of them. I would recommend either one for the job.

Can anyone recommend a jewelry appraiser? Hopefully in Henrico's near west end or short pump area- but I can travel :)

I've had two great experiences with Kambourian Jewelers in Carytown. They took their time, clearly explained the appraisals and because I was interested in selling, made me offers that far surpassed any other offers I had received.
Kathryn R. replied:
Finks Jewelers in short pump has a certified gemologist to do appraisals
