Know it's not Rickmansworth but it's not far, have you tried The Old Orchard in Harefield? Great all round food, atmosphere, staff & facilities. Ticks a lot of boxes.
Who remembers food outlets in Ricky cafe Swiss ,fiddlers green and burger ville in Penn place any more

Cafe Swiss is now a Thai restaurant, fiddlers green was the wimpy I think. Can't remember exactly where it was, possibly where Clarks is now? I don't remember burger ville. Now we have even more 'eateries' than you can shake a stick at!!

I remember the Wimpy but not Fiddlers Green. It must have made better burgers than the Wimpy! I remember Cafe Suisse well.
