Dentist for the younger children- Childrens Dental has been amazing Schools-Pre K Leapin Lizards was amazing with my nephew, Grade schools- Charter has been phenomenal with my niece and nephew and Pierce Elementary has been amazing with my daughter Dance classes- Sierra Academy of Dance is amazing and offers classes from age 3 and up

Our family loves Dr Oei. He is great with kids. My daughter never knew she has a shot lol. Dr Ogren abs Dr Robinson?? Are wonderful for optometrists. As for a church, that would depend on what type of church you're looking for. Charismatic, liturgical etc. We have some great churches in town!

I run https://www.facebook.com/282223041960456 Almost Eden Rescue here in town and we take our dogs to Crestwood, I highly recommend them. But a lot of people say good things about Canyon vet too, so no matter who you go with I am sure you will be fine. The thing that sucks though is if you have an emergency and need after hours service, then you have to go to Lancaster or Bakersfield for 24 hour service

Bishop Veterinary Clinic - 1408 N. Mahan St. (760)446-1300. They come to Ridgecrest every other Wednesday and I believe they told me it was a $75 house call if they are intown. My dog had to be put down on a day that they weren't here and one of their vets, Dr. Pfeiff, drove here from Bishop to my home and did it. She was amazing, but you do have to pay a lot extra to have them come down here. She took my dog with her back to Bishop and had him cremated (Also an extra charge) and two weeks later I had his ashes in a beautiful cedar box with his name engraved on a gold plate on the outside. It was worth every penny to me.

I had heard they were supposed to start being here weekly starting in July, so it might be worth a try calling their R/C office. Leave a message, and the receptionist usually gets back to you within the day. 446-1300. Dr. Talbot came to our house for our golden a few years ago, and I am so thankful we were able to go that route. I'm sorry. It's so incredibly hard to lose our beloved animals.

How old is your dog? Could be something called vestibular disease. Link attached. Can seem very scary but basically dog just loses their balance and ability to move normally. Just try to stay calm and keep them from moving around too much. Melvin Mede no 1 vca no longer does it. They will only come in for the shelter for after hours emergencies. Even when calling their # they refer you to the lancaster vet

Really like Dr. Decker at Crestwood. Was not very happy with the vet by the bowling alley

I like Dr Decker and Dr Thornburg at Crestwood. But it is VCA corporation owned and prices are set by the corporation. I too wish we had a 24 hour emergency.

If I have any major issues I try to see Dr. Vicki at Kernville. She's super busy though (because she is awesome). I've recently been going to Crestwood for vaccines and a couple small issues with the new dog I got. It's pretty expensive but I've had a good experience recently (I had some bad experiences a few years ago but they seem to have a mostly new staff).

I love Dr. Decker at Crestwood. Yes, they are expensive but I've always had exceptional care for all of my animals there. I also took one of my animals to the vet in Bishop recently because he couldn't be seen here. The vet and the staff there were great!

Thank you all for the info. We are going to check out both Dr Vicki in Kernville and Bishop to be our primary. We adopted a rescue on Monday and we saw he had worms on Tuesday so needed to get him in ASAP. Went to Crestwood and they were very nice, we will however be speaking to the others to see about overall care and go from there. A vet for the doggie babies is just as important as a pediatrician for the human babies. So seeing a few to see what fits is always good. Thanks again for all the input. Xx

Vicky Boyer. Hands down. Crestwood is expensive and the vet next to the bowling alley did permanent damage to my boxer. If you have to stay in town, we just emergency visited Indian wells valley clinic on ridgecrest Blvd. Dr. Whittaker was amazing.

Bishop Vets. The come here every other Wednesday. They're in our phone book.

Crestwood ALL the way, they were wonderful and did a great job on my dogs surgery to remove a large benign lump in his leg and a deep teeth cleaning while he was under and Dr Decker was his Dr too, she was so nice to us and our dog And the price was very reasonable and less than we had anticipated

I really like Dr. Jenkins. His office is in the strip mall where the bowling alley is located. Crestwood is pretty good too.

I've been going to Crestwood for my animal care for years and they are awesome. Dr. Decker has always gone above and beyond for my animals.

I have had several pets spayed/neutered with Dr. Decker at Crestwood. They can be pricey for other things, but they are the cheapest in town for getting your pet fixed. You will be required to pay for rabies shot if not current, and exam. But like others have said, you can get on their website and get a coupon for first visit free for up to two pets I believe if you take them in at the same time.

I like IW Vet on E Ridgecrest Bl... Good with reasonable cost. Discounted Shot clinic, too.

VCA Crestwood has a pet insurance that covers most of the cost for $30/month
