My wife and I are moving to Ringwood shortly - final piece of the jigsaw before retirement and really looking forward to a different pace of life after almost 30 years...

Spend a day on the beach at Studland. Get the chain Ferry from Sandbanks and walk to the National Trust Cafe or the Bankes Arms for a beer! Walk back to the ferry and have a yummy dinner at Shell Bay restaurant before crossing back...or for a day with the grand kids try Brownsea island!

Learn about the history of Ringwood at The Meeting House. Browse through old photos and read about where you now live over a coffee.

Sunday lunch by the river at The George in Fordingbridge. Walk or cycle to Moors Valley early in the morning and take a walk along the treetop trail before anyone else is there. Visit Corfe Castle via the chain ferry. Visit Kingston Lacy over near Wimborne. A picnic with a few bits from Food For Thought in the High St is essential! Try the Italian hot chocolate at Lovitaly.
