We took our pup to this families home. He stayed for 12 days! They are in Greece NY. They sent us a daily email photo and update! He has a long detailed questionnaire to fill out about the pets normal care. They are about $25 a day! I would trust this couple again! http://www.k9 grandparents.com/#2838

Petswelcome.com is great. You can map your entire trip and it will show Pet friendly motels along the way. Used it with my chessie when going from Delaware to Oklahoma. Good luck!

Howard Johnson allows dogs as well. Rooms are limited however so it's best to call in advance.
Where can I find one of these beautiful puppies? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Or just a direction to look.

I am looking for local advice in the best outdoor cat shelter for an outdoor cat for the winter. Can anyone offer suggestions on how to make one that will keep a cat...
I made a cat house for my tnr colony. Had 4 cats using this, so I made it a little wider than the original design calls for. But it's held up wonderfully and they love it. http://www.fivercats.com/feral_cat_house_plans.pdf

Denise Van De Walle same cat. They can't keep her.:(

Elsa Hack we will also be setting up our event soon. SBACC supplies the straw and we build there. That's were the coolers are destined for!! The event at Home Depot is for The Meow Mission, not us or SBACC.
Senia M. replied:
Jill Rippy we have had one living outside for 3 years and we took an old garage sale table put a tarp over it and weighed it down with rocks and bricks on all sides and left it open enough on one side for him to get in and out. Then we put a heat lamp and cushion inside. It has kept 100% of the snow out and kept him snuggly warm all winter.
Lisa F. replied:
Ann Rybak there will be one at SBACC coming up too but not sure of the date yet
I have one...it was $30 already made and with straw from meow mission. It's elevated off the ground so water can't get in and totally insulted. Michiana feral gives them out at times too. Contact both:) Jodi Aker
