Fellow Romans (that includes Armuchee folks, too!),
I need to take my reliable car (2001 Mercury Grand Marquis, 150K miles) to a mechanic to check on some acceleration...
Scott H. replied:
Mike Ford for acceleration issues, berry physical plant auto shop for tune ups. They use to do it for free or for cost of parts/fluids.
Wendy D. replied:
Sounds like you have lots of good options. Let me put in a plug for my buddies at Courtesy Ford. They have treated me honestly, fairly and like a family member that they are happy to see!
Toni R. replied:
John Hardin or Mike Ford- both very good and trustworthy!
Garrett C. replied:
M&M Automotive on Maple Road.
Stephanie M. replied:
Mike Ford
Katherine P. replied:
Mike Ford!
Ruth S. replied:
I have taken my car to Ratliff Service center on Broad Street for years. I trust them to do a good job.
Barbara G. replied:
Mike Ford is my suggestion.
Harry M. replied:
Mike FORD( he always takes care of Berry Students like they are his own)
Jan G. replied:
Mike Ford is awesome, reliable, wont do unnecessary work and will find the cheapest, best way to fix something. He took care of all our cars! Tell him i said 'hi'.
Ellen J. replied:
I think Mike Ford is pretty honest (and handsome!)
Helen C. replied:
I have heard good things about Mike Ford too!
Ray B. replied:
Mike Ford, The Garage, or Kendrick Auto Service just north of the mall.
Chris L. replied:
I've been working with Tuck's tire and auto machine shop for the last few years and found them quite impressive. I can't recommend Kendrick anymore. I've found Mike Ford is excellent but when I have compared his prices are higher than Tuck's.
Chris L. replied:
One other: John Hardin on Huffaker. Absolutely honest, absolutely most reasonably priced...but slow. He usually has a backlog of clients.
Cheryl H. replied:
Mike Ford!
Sara F. replied:
Chris Lewis will tell you whom you can trust.
Dale M. replied:
Steve Gray FTW. I hadn't thought about it, but I suppose that does explain my involuntary swooning.
Julianne B. replied:
Mike Ford is the way to go.
J M. replied:
Mike Ford does great work and is always reasonably priced.
Help...could you recommend a good auto mechanic? I need a new thermostat and unfortunately that requires taking a few things off my car to get to. Any suggestions?
