Looking for a good beard barber Hey guys,
I have a full unruly beard and am looking for a barber to help me style it a bit similar to the guy on Instagram...
ClydeDroid replied:
I don't have a beard myself, but I got a really good haircut at [Barber Blues](http://barberblues.net/) and I noticed they do a beard shave with fancy beard oils and whatnot, so it's probably worth considering!
StillPlaysWithSwords replied:
I grew up all my life going to the same barber for 30+ years. My brother, father, grandfather all went there. Started as a little kid sitting in a horse wooden riser; they still had that wooden horse last time I was there. One day the barber that cut my hair my entire life retired. I was left in a daze, tried somewhere else, and finally just gave up and let my hair grow long. It's was 6 years before I finally got my haircut by a stylist, left it long for another 3 years and finally went to some random barber around the corner from my work. I am not sure what was worse- my dog dying as a kid, or loosing my life long barber as an adult.

[Anthony(Shep)](https://www.instagram.com/shepthebarber/) cant recommend him enough, he does amazing work both hair and keeping my beard so fresh and so clean clean.

Poli's on 22 nd nrxt to Temple is my favorite spot. Every barber there does an amazing job. Only shitty part is the wait. Even if you get there before they open, expect to wait at least a couple hours. And it's walk-ins only, but you can put your number down and they text or call you when you're up. It's worth the wait in my opinion. Cuts are $24.

Dan at Havey’s in West Sac.

My husband's barber is the owner of Pretty Much Styles and Cuts on Mather Field Road (Rancho Cordova). Prices are solid ($20/cut) and he does amazing with my hubby's beard. 11/10 will always recommend!

Salon Paisley. Ask for Linsey or Brie.

I like Phil at Space 07. He does a good job and it’s only about $20.00.

Passion hair at the Greenhaven area. Brian (owner), Juan, and Hau do an amazing job. $20 haircut.

Either Fernando or Marcus at The Gentlemen's Cutlery on 12 th Street. Great barbers. Make an appointment online, pay online or in person. Very professional, no foul language or annoyingly loud music. Hot towels and drinks come with each cut.

Everyone at Anthony's is great. They are appointment only now, check out sacramentobarbershop.com I go to Alex, but as I said everyone there can cut hair well.

Leyland at Bastille Barbers does a great job, I recommend him highly.

> I used to go to B&B but the prices were a little rough. A good, consistent, cut is worth their rates (and they're not even the most expensive in town).
Bananas_N_Champagne replied:
I go to Bottle and Barlow now Veronica cuts my hair, she always does a great job. Been getting it cut by her for a year now. Before that i would go to Jimmy's Barber garage which was pretty good too. But i didn't go to someone specifically just whoever was available.

Hot Rods Chop Shop on Folsom Blvd is fantastic. The owner is super nice and as a car guy I can’t complain about the decor. Most importantly, they also do fantastic work. I’ve had other shops screw up my beard, but Hot Rods hasn’t let me down.

I had the same barber from when I was born till I was 30 years old. He also cut my brother's, father's, and grandfather's hair. You think you're in shock? I tried another barber, gave up then grew my hair out long for 7 years. Finally got it cut two years ago. Now I go to the closest barber to work.
giantpanduh replied:
I've been going to Barber Blues for last couple of months (my barber left as well) and I have been very happy. Make an appointment online or through the phone. Open 7 days a week where a lot of barber shops are closed on Sunday/Monday. Cash/Credit Card accepted. Edit: I was probably incorrect about walk-ins. Removed just in case.
Attention my stylist and barber friends! Does anybody know of a barbershop in Sacramento or Roseville/Rocklin area that offers an open blade shave? Any leads will help...

Barber recommendations Dou you guys have any barber recommendations for downtown?
squaredotted replied:
E Street Salon is slightly more expensive, but you can make an appointment rather than waiting for hours in the lobby of some of the other barbers, and the haircuts are pretty decent. I think it runs around $30 for men’s cuts, and they actually wash your hair so you can go straight back to work
Unstealthy-Ninja replied:
Razors Edge is pretty good. I always suggest it because he treats his regulars well. Don’t expect super kind customer service though, owners personality is kinda blunt and no bullshit but he’s a great person. $20 and it’s good, quick work.

The best barbershop I've found in the area is Anthony's Barbershop in Midtown. It's run by cool, skater/hipster type dudes who actually know how to give stylish haircuts. Check them out on IG. Book an appointment on their website. http://sacramentobarbershop.com
