Last time I got a flat, I went to City Bicycle Works on 25 th and K. They treated me right. Normally, I go to College Cyclery on 21 st and 3 rd Ave - ish. Edit: There's also the bike kitchen on 19 th and I, where you can learn to do your own repairs.

If you can make it to Davis there's a crap ton of awesome shops. Even a bike co-op where you can trade labor for parts. Check out: http://daviswiki.org/Bicycle_Shops Looking at that list there's even a few in Sac you can check out.

If you live in South Sac, there is a guy on Cabrillo off of 21 st Avenue. He;s an old retired guy who buys junk bikes at flea markets and garage sales and fixes the up for sale. He also helps all the neighborhood kids fix their bikes. I use him exclusively for all my bike needs at this point.

I generally go to Mike's Bikes. Love me some Wayne.

Sacramento bicycle mechanic here. I work in Folsom, but city bicycle works is pretty ok, mikes bikes on 14 th and I is a big chain-type store. They should be able to help. Otherwise, if you're in Folsom, there's a fellow redditor at Bicycles Plus!
