Booth's Corner Farmers Market, just over the line via Foulk Road, only open on weekends. Shoe repair place is on Main level. I take my dress shoes there frequently and get good service.
Hello, where's a good place to buy our scrubs? Any recommendations on a brand of shoes? Thank you very much!!!!
Savannah D. replied:
I went to a place called Medical Scrubs at Fredericksburg and Callaghan and the owner was super helpful and gave me all sorts of choices- lots of royal blue tops! And he has a 30% student discount.
Paige M. replied:
If you aren't opposed to ordering them online, I really like allheart.com. I got my BP and stethoscope set for less than 20 bucks, and a lot of their scrub tops and pants are 15 dollars or less. Oh, and their 'royal blue' color is the same shade as the one we need for school.
Looks like they got some non-leather Dr. Martens and sewed patches onto the sides. You could either paint the patches with fabric paint or use printable transfer paper which allows you to print on the transfer sheet from your computer and then iron on the design.
Can anybody recommend a decent pair of shoes/sneakers that I can get? I don't wanna spend too much, but I need something good for me. I've been working out in my Vans...

I've seen cowboy boots that get into the EEE's off the shelf
Neezy_ replied:
13EEEE here, I feel your pain. If we're talking dress shoes, you can get lucky and find up to a 5E on the Florsheim website. For higher quality, Allen Edmonds goes up to a 3E on all their models. I have settled for a 14EEE in the past. Your best bet is to get some custom made shoes, obviously those will cost you more.
For sneakers, I have literally given up on being cool and only buy the Pegasus running shoe from Nike. They come in Extra Wide which is a 4E. Don't get me wrong, they're very versatile and can be worn with anything. They actually end up looking good with your basic streetwear outfit and you can customize the colorway. There are also a few other customizable Nike shoes that come in Extra Wide.
bringing_not_back replied:
I'm a 10EEEE and I was looking for work shoes under or around $100. Finally found that Florsheim had a decent selection of EEE and settled on a 10.5 EEE that had proven to be very comfortable for me over the last few years. Much better than the 11.5 or 12 shoes I had been using.
bc2zb replied:
Fellow 12EEEE here. I just dropped the money on some [SAS](http://www.sasshoes.com/) bout times. I was tired of pinched and uncomfortable shoes, and I do a lot of walking. I'm not 100% on their styling, but I have no other complaints about them. I scored a pair of New Balance 609 awhile ago. But the toe is blown out and I've been searching for a new sneaker ever since.
MrDirt replied:
I wear that size. I usually wear New Balance. The cool models usually don't come in that size, but try them on to see how they fit. 11W bean boots fit me well and most wide Wolverines I've tried are close enough to not hurt or make my feet spill off the sides. I tried ordering some Pf Flyers when 6 pm had them on sale and it was a sad situation seeing them on me. My feet almost touched the floor on the outside edges.
ElPatoLibre replied:
13EEE here. Nordstrom. Some of their Nordstrom brand shoes go that wide, and if not, they're usually pretty helpful about ordering a pair for you, be it from them or from one of their suppliers. Good luck.

This makes me feel like an asshole for complaining about having 13E feet. I guess the good news is you never have to worry about shoe impulse buys?
DrewTheHobo replied:
My dad wears 13EEEE, he went to Nordstroms and usually bought New Balance. Online would probably work well too. Good luck!
Alright fellow runners... What kind of shoes do you recommend? Goin athletic clothes shoppin soon and need some advice. I've always bought brooks but wanna change it up.

Stay with Brooks man. There's no reason to change from them. Got to Soler Sports in SA and they will help you out/set you up well.
