Try comfortis, best stuff ever! Starts killing the fleas in half hour. Once they bite your Cat they die. I would say a bath would be a temporary fix. You probably have the fleas in your house now so they would jump back on your cat. I get my pet meds from Vetco. Bow Wow Beautiful off of Estrella...around $50, and Heidi is the best. I've been to San Clemente Grooming, and it was a bit hit or miss. Heidi and her staff are definitely worth the extra $10.

Shannon, grooming doesn't help the shedding, you just have to brush him every day, it's shedding season and add a little olive oil to his food, Haley's dog sheds a ton too even short hair
