I stopped by Chula Vista cycles. https://m.facebook.com/170692559613283/photos/a.325954587420412.100366.170692559613283/654097504606117/?type=3&source=54 I'm not sure on the route you are taking, but if you are taking coast route to TJ crossing this shop is on a verrry cycle friendly route. Smaller shop, might want to call ahead to see if they have what you need. I stopped by last year while cycling to Baja and the TJ crossing.

These guys are great, very reasonable, and are just south of downtown -- right on the bay along the "Bayshore Bikeway" route, so, you don't have to detour on your way to Mexico: http://www.hubandspokecycleworks.com619-512-1137

Also on your way, if you come into San Diego via Rose Canyon, is Bicycle Warehouse. I can't vouch for their mechanics, but, they should have a large selection of tires. https://bicyclewarehouse.com/pages/pacificbeach

Hey friends, would you recommend Costco for car tires? Do they have good prices?
Monte G. replied:
I usually go to Discount Tire, and they will pretty much always give me a decent discount, just for asking.

If you go to tirerack.com, find something recommended for your car, and Costco carries them, it tends to be a great deal. I don't know that I'd shop for them there, though.
